The appearance of a brand new #1 and #2 album on the Billboard 200 this past week means that Kanye West's The Life of Pablo was booted from the top spot down to #4 overall. Rihanna came in just behind him at #5, marking the second of two urban albums in the top 10 this week. Just outside of the top 10 were the likes of Kevin Gates, Bryson Tiller, G-Eazy, and The Weeknd, who all stuck in the same exact spots as last week. Future has three releases within the #20-#30 range, which is a huge feat. Hats off to him for that. ...

Someone Is Curating A Kanye West Art Exhibit In New York City Apr 20, 2016 at 10:51am
An art exhibit paying tribute to one of the more consistently polarizing figures in pop (and hip hop) music was always inevitable, but we didn’t realize it would come so soon. We probably shouldn’t be surprised that there’s already a Kanye West-themed art exhibit on the way though. Brianni Taylor is curating an exhibit in New York City that will also double as a fundraising event, titled “The Life Of Pablo Art Exhibit.” The name could be catchier.

Desiigner's "Panda" is currently the No. 2 song in the country. It's a song that took him a year and a half to make, and one that he's proud of. When performing his breakout hit, the 19-year-old can be seen sweating, screaming, dabbing maniacally, and, as of last weekend, puking. Inspired by Desiigner's incredible boot 'n rally (see below), we wanted to round up a list of some particularly shocking moments of on-stage behavior.

One down, one to go. The first half of Coachella is now over with, and weekend #2 is gonna have to bring a helluva lot of surprises if it wishes to live up to this past weekend. As has been the case in recent years, hip-hop has already been a major part of the lineup. Fans who stormed the grounds to see A$AP Rocky's headlining show were treated to superstar cameos from ScHoolboy Q and Kanye West. The first weekend has already showcased some of Cali's best talent, including YG, Vince Staples, and Anderson.

Last month, Kanye edited his already-released The Life of Pablo. There are numerous reasons this isn’t done often, from practical to political to emotional. Much was made of it in the media, in part because of the fanfare surrounding the album’s exclusivity on Tidal.

Is it just me, or have the past few weeks felt like the calm before the storm? After all of the TLOP hubbub died down (this is the first week in a long time that we haven't had a Kanye solo joint in our top ten list), we've had quite a lack of releases from rap's upper echelon. Teasers, singles, and release date announcements seem to keep flooding in, but this Friday, when A$AP Ferg releases Always Strive And Prosper, things will really get cooking.

Like many of L.A.'s celebrities, Kanye West was at Coachella on Friday, making a special appearance in both Jack U and ASAP Rocky's sets, the latter of which he actually performed "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" before he and Rocky's mics were cut off due to time restrictions. When he wasn't popping up on stage, he seemed to be having a pretty good time behind the scenes, as some footage of an athletic competition between himself and Tyler, The Creator surfaces today.

Kobe Bryant just played the final game of his remarkable 20-year career at the Staples Center Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz, where he put on a 60 point performance for the fans. Unsurprisingly, the arena was packed with some star-studded artists & celebrities to watch the Black Mamba take the court for the last time, including Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, David Beckham, Jack Nicholson, Schoolboy Q, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, and Kanye West, who caught the attention of the fashion world with a special edition “Black Mamba” shirt that he rocked during the game.

Since Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor Swift before she accepted her first VMA in 2009, it was thought that the two megastars had become friendly, especially as Swift had presented West with the Video Vanguard Award at the same MTV award show last year.

Rappers and hip hop moguls shelled out as much as 40 grand to witness Kobe Bryant's final game in person. And it was worth it. Kobe dropped 60 points, including the Lakers last 15 points of the game, and hit the game-winning jumper with 31 seconds to play.

Kanye West's "Saint Pablo" (Sort Of) Appears On Apple Music Apr 14, 2016 at 09:37am
Even when Kanye West isn’t directly involved, there always seems to be some weird stuff happening with the way the rapper’s music rolls out. We posted a stream to “Saint Pablo” that was subsequently taken down, and the only way it could be found was on Tidal.

Despite what designers might want you to think, the fashion world isn’t really that original. Everybody tries to ride the wave that one brand or designer started, and it tends to work. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t get to call out when someone is a little bit too suspect with their “inspiration.” This new Aldo sneaker is a perfect example of that.

With four new albums in the top 5, the Billboard 200 shifted considerably this week. Kanye West takes the #1 spot as Billboard finally tallies up his streams and sales, after the rapper made the The Life of Pablo available on all streaming platforms, meanwhile, Big Sean & Jhene Aiko's Twenty88 project lands impressively at the #5 spot. Albums by Lukas Graham and Weezer also infiltrate into the top 10, but that's for another website.

Kanye West's The Life of Pablo is finally available to stream beyond just TIDAL, and not only that, it's begun charting on the Billboard 200 (at #1 no less, earning him his seventh consecutive #1 album). While all this is happening, Kanye's set his sights on a new music video-- we haven't received one yet from TLOP, and it's unclear if there are any more visuals in the bag.

On last week's edition of Top Tracks, Drake locked down the highest two spots with new leaks, and appeared once more as a guest on PartyNextDoor's "Come And See Me," which landed at number eight. If you thought that was impressive, wait til you see this week's. The 6 God controls half of this week's list, despite the fact that all versions that appear on here are unofficial leaks.

Kanye West's "The Life Of Pablo" Is His 7th Consecutive No. 1 Album Apr 10, 2016 at 06:21pm
UPDATE (04/11/2016 | 3:04pm EST): There are a few minor errors in the below text with regard to how Billboard gauged The Life of Pablo's streaming numbers for the week of April 1 to April 7. Firstly, all streams before that increment are not counted toward this week's sales, which are equivalent to 94,000. As noted below, the album was streamed 250 million times in its first 10 days of availability, whilst it was exclusively on Tidal, where it remained until April 1.
