Top Tracks: May 16 - May 22
This past week, we were finally able to take a deep breath and reflect on all of the major projects we've heard in the past month -- A$AP Ferg, Bankroll Mafia, Beyoncé, Drake, Skepta, Rittz, Chance The Rapper, and Post Malone have all dropped full-lengths in that relatively brief timespan. It would appear that the summer's first burst of high-profile albums has subsided, but as we await projects from Travi$ Scott, YG, ScHoolboy Q, and others, at least guys like The Underachievers and Casey Veggies have given us something new to chew on.

Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Boost line hasn't released a new colorway in quite some time but judging from a recent video posted by Kim Kardashian (West) there's a new Yeezy Boost 750 on the horizon. In the quick video, Kim pans over stacks of Adidas Yeezy Boost boxes before saying, "ugh, the amount of calls I'm going to get." Poor thing. Being the plug ain't easy. In contrast with the first few months of 2015, when it seemed like our Top Tracks lists were just the same Kanye and Drake tracks rising and falling with each ensuing week, the past few editions have been utter chaos, with the #1 spot changing every week. Staying power is proving difficult to achieve in an increasingly crowded summer playing field-- Beyoncé and Birdman's chart-toppers from two and one week ago, respectively, are nowhere to be found this week, although a few of the lower-ranking tracks stuck it out.
