The Chops Of Pablo
The Chops Of Pablo
OG Ron C & DJ Candlestick
OG Ron C, DJ Candlestick, and The Chopstars have chopped up just about all of the best hip-hop releases this year. It's amazing how they can soak just about any sound in the DJ Screw-inspired Houston sauce while still retaining the key elements of the original mix -- even revealing new details that might've gone unnoticed before the chopping process. There were a couple of big releases that they hadn't slowed and throwed yet -- the main one being VIEWS, as their OVO-approved reworks of Drake records are always entrancing.

Malik Yusef
HOTTTTT
Way back in 2009, G.O.O.D. Music's Malik Yusef released his sophomore album G.O.O.D. Morning & G.O.O.D. Night. While not exactly a radio-success, the LP went on to sell in excess of 600,000 copies, gaining acclaim for Yusef's poignant spoken-word stylings and some stellar guest appearances. For those of us who slept on Yusef's G.O.O.D. Music debut, the album has now resurfaced in revised (read: "Deconstructed") form. Featuring much of the same material included in the retail release, the new rendition piles on some new guest features and original tunes.

HOTTTTT
For those unfamiliar, Eskeerdo is a GRAMMY-award-winning emcee/songwriter out of South Florida who's written for the likes of Kanye West, Rihanna and more.  31 Days is his latest project, which finds him rhyming about "his past, his struggle, his relationships and his climb" over popular instrumentals both new and old, from Tupac and TLC to ScHoolboy Q and Pharrell. Can you dig it? Let us know what you think, folks.
