  • Right Here
    Right Here
Kafani returns to HNHH with "Right Here," a new single with Unkut 2 crooner Ray J. With an instrumental heavily-inspired by DJ Mustard, this one sounds like it should fit nicely alongside most of the west coast's major radio hits of today. As of now, "Right Here" is not officially connected to any full length project.
  • Knock Somethin'
    Knock Somethin'
We last heard from Kafani this past Thursday when the rapper added a verse to DeJ Loaf's street hit "Try Me." Now, he's back with a single of his own. Produced by the illustrious DJ Mustard, "Knock Somethin'" finds Kafani and collaborators Sav & Smurf Hicks on the hunt for some women to knock. Fans of the Bay's hyphy movement are bound to find some enjoyment here.
  • Try Me (Remix)
    Try Me (Remix)
Detroit's DeJ Loaf seems to have something of a regional hit on her hands. Well, it's gone a little farther than her hometown actually, as Oakland's Kafani has added a new verse to the track today. The dreamy production matched with DeJ's understated melodicism is as fresh as it is memorable. It almost sounds like a less aggressive take on the catchier aspects of Chicago's drill movement, but not as sugary as the subsequent bop scene. If you're looking for more from Kafani, make sure to check out his latest track, "Keep It Lit" with JR Hitz.
  • Keep It Lit
    Keep It Lit
Bay Area veteran Kafani has again teamed up with frequent collaborator JR Hitz for another dope track. "Keep It Lit" is the name of this one, and it's a Bay track through and though, using a base coat of hyphy and spicing things up a bit with some Mustard-style "heys" and claps. Hitz and Kafani manage to keep it lit with dope lyrics and interesting flows, showing us how things are done where they're from.
  • Yikin' Party
    Yikin' Party
If you're not familiar with "Yiking", it's a dance craze that took off around the time Sage The Gemini dropped "Red Nose". In a way, you could say "yiking" helped popularize Sage, and Sage helped popularize "yiking", and both have Vine to thank in the end. The comes Kafani, who's now contributed his own track dedicated to the viral dance, grabbing an OG in the Bay Area scene in the meantime. Yep, E-40 steps in for the assist on this one, proving once again that as much as the region has gone through plenty of movements, its fundamental sound has remained firmly in place.
