Juicy J announced a video contest last year, of which the winner would be granted a $50,000 scholarship for their studies. Originally, Juicy tweeted that the prize would be given to the best twerk video, but the Stay Trippy rapper ended up broadening the scope of the contest, explaining that those who entered would simply have to show him why they deserve it, in whichever way possible.
Juicy J To Release New Studio Album In 2014
Juicy J fans can expect a new studio album from the Trippy King in 2014. He tweeted "New juicy j album 2014 #thehustlecontinues" earlier today. The Taylor Gang Records signee dropped his third studio project Stay Trippy in late August of last year. It debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and was met with generally positive reviews from critics.

This is a brief one, folks. Yo Gotti has taken to Twitter this evening to publicly ask fellow Memphis emcee Juicy J why he's been "dodging" him. Although there has been some mild beef between Gotti and Three 6 Mafia in the past, we weren't aware of any issues between these two specifically. You never know when something might pop off in the rap game, though. There's been no response from Juicy as of yet, but hopefully this is all just a misunderstanding. Stay tuned.

In the competition between the same-day release rappers Juicy J and Big Sean Juicy J appears to be taking the lead, although Sean debuted stronger than Juicy initially. Not to say they both haven't fallen quite a few spots-- they have. However Juicy J's fan base remains more persistent that Sean Don, with Stay Trippy selling another 21k at #15 and Hall Of Fame selling only 18k at #24. Will we see Juicy J remain stronger than Sean over a longer period of time?

This week Big Sean and Juicy J enter the Billboard 200, debuting one after another. Each rapper sold a respectable amount, however, it's nothing too crazy. Sean Don actually sold less than his debut album, although he promoted Hall Of Fame as better than his debut, perhaps the fans didn't care that much? They cared enough though-- he moved 72,000 units, which gave him a #3 debut.
