  • Storm Comin' (Remix)
    Storm Comin' (Remix)
Back in June, Rah Digga teamed up with hip-hop titan Chuck D for a powerful, artists' rights track called "Storm Comin'." Now she's found a similarly pissed-off, but much younger, rapper to hop on the remix: Jon Connor.
  • Alarm Clock
    Alarm Clock
Statik Selektah is getting ready to drop off his What Goes Around album on August 19th, but before he does so, the NYC producer decided to share his newest single “Alarm Clock” featuring Ab-Soul, Logic, and Jon Connor. With these three lyrical emcees at the helm, you know this track is destined for plenty of double entendres, and some serious wordplay. With that said, this definitely needs a few spins to fully digest, but trust me, that's not a bad thing. This ish smooth y'all!
  • Make It Seem Easy
    Make It Seem Easy
On July 1st, Kaliraps will release his mixtape Mr. Misunderstood, and today he's shared a track from the upcoming project with us. "Make It Seem Easy" features newly-minted XXL freshman Jon Connor and production from Statik Selektah.
  • L.A. Leakers Freestyle
    L.A. Leakers Freestyle
Jon Connor season is in effect. The rapper was named as one of XXL's "Dirty Dozen" freshmen, and a day after the announcement he let go a passionate track produced by Mr. Porter announcing his "Take Off." He warned us that was just a warm-up, and staying true to his word he's back at it today with a new freestyle for the L.A. Leakers.
  • Take Off
    Take Off
Jon Connor landed a spot on the coveted XXL Freshmen 2014 list, as was revealed yesterday live on BET's 106 & Park. Connor is joined by eleven other rising MCs, including Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk, Kevin Gates and Isaiah Rashad. Jon Connor is perhaps the most low-key rapper on the list when it comes to his buzz, despite the lyrical beast signing to Dr. Dre's Aftermath earlier this year.
  • Kick In The Door

  • #ConnorSeason Begins
    #ConnorSeason Begins
Apparently, "Connor Season" is upon us. Considering the fact that the season begins with a freestyle over Rick Ross and Jay Z's "The Devil Is A Lie", chances  are this is the beginning of a freestyle series from the rapper. As he says in the new effort, Connor was recently signed by Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment (for half a million, he reveals here, before weirdly bragging about his Beats products). He's also up for the XXL freshman list, but chances are with that kind of a co-sign, he won't need it either way.
  • Reflections
    Reflections
You could be forgiven for letting Suspect fly under your radar as up until now, there hasn't been too much detectable activity from this artist, save a mixtape called The Soul Food Trilogy (preceded by a mix called Appetizer). But his new song "Reflections" shocks us with its bombastic, professional production and some solid emcee work. Jon Connor and Mavelle's appearances on the track only service the song for the better.
  • I Don't Give A Fuck 3.0
    I Don't Give A Fuck 3.0
Peter Jackon returns today with the third segment of his "I Don't Give A Fuck" track series. For this one, he recruits a big line-up of Freddie Gibbs, SwizZz, Aasim, Consequence and Jon Connor. This will appear on his new mixtape dropping later today, Good Company. Who had the best verse? Be warned, Gibbs verse is recycled. Quotable Lyrics
