Jim Jones Feat. A$AP Ferg
Jim Jones, along with the rest of Dipset, always made sure to put on for Harlem, and the A$AP Mob are now doing the very same thing, so it only made sense for Jones' "Harlem" record from his new mixtape, The Kitchen, to be a torch-passing moment. Joined by ASAP Ferg, the track bridges the gap between the two rappers, as a gritty New York beat feels both fresh and indebted to the city's past. Jones sticks within the comfortably stylish flows he's been known to use, while Ferg opts for a more furious double-time.

Jim Jones was the latest rapper to appear on ESPN's Highly Questionable segment. During the video, Jones fields questions about living in the Bronx and having to move to Harlem to live with his grandma (because of all his bad behavior). He goes on to talk about some of the craziest fight he's been in (among them, he was apparently involved in a fight that lasted thirty minutes), and says that he has to always be on his defense in the rap game. He also details what actually happened during that thirty minute, which involved Juelz Santana and Freeky Zeky too.

Though the G-Unit reunion has no doubt attracted more attention, Dipset has been low-key killing shit in 2014 as well. Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Hell Rell recently linked up on the araabMUZIK-produced "C.F.W.U." (Can't Fuck With Us), and now they've unveiled a video for the First Of The Month Vol. 2 track.  Showing Cam and Co. rapping from parking lots, roofs and best of all, fire escapes, this is old-school Harlem at its finest. Papoose is still dropping videos from his long-postponed album, Nacirema Dream. The latest of which is the Ice-T-sampling "6 AM", which borrows its hook from the rapper's classic track, "6 N The Mornin'". T actually took some time off of his day job (playing a cop) on "Law & Order: SVU" to make an appearance in the video, which also hosts the likes of New York spitters, Jim Jones and Jadakiss.
