It all started in Flint, MI where my mother gave birth to me at hurley hospital on august 5th, 1995 at 8:15am. As a kid in elementary, I was always the uncool kid. No one wanted to hang with Jay. I was nerdy, I was boring, I wasn't funny. As I transitioned to high school, I started to just be myself, and my love for music came out. Being an avid music listener, I always heard instrumentals, drum cadences and other music playing in my head constantly. making Head Drum major for my school gave me a mindset that any goal is attainable, no matter how low on the totem you are, the top will come below you if you climb.
