Jay Electronica & DOOM
VERY HOTTTTT
Over the weekend, DOOM shared a fan-recorded video from his remote SXSW set in which he shared an unreleased collaboration with Jay Electronica. It sounded pretty amazing but fans wondered wistfully if the HQ version of the song would ever be released. Given Jay Elec's history of releases, it seemed unlikely.
The Curse Of Mayweather
The Curse Of Mayweather
Jay Electronica
VERY HOTTTTT
Last week, Jay Electronica made the news over some very candid comments he made during a Periscope session, making what some deemed shady remarks about both Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent. He's now released a new track with addresses that exact "reckless" talk from the other day. On top of the song, which seems to be taking aim at a couple of rappers, Jay tweeted at 50, writing "don't make me expose you as a coward," as well as delivering a general message to the game: "aint nobody safe no more. Either you with me or against me."

Jay Electronica
HOTTTTT
Now that Dr. Dre finally dropped an album, Jay Electronica is the new top dog among rappers who are constantly getting hounded about their rumored album that will probably never drop. At 38 years old, Jay Electronica has still never dropped even one album. But with a fresh leak in "Holladay," hope springs eternal. This track is by no means finished -- it hasn't been mixed and it gets cut off abruptly at the 2:08 mark. Given Jay's unreliable history, that might be all we ever hear from this track. Beat is money in the bank though.
Man Up (Unreleased)
Man Up (Unreleased)
Jay Electronica
VERY HOTTTTT
Jay Electronica has frustrated fans with his lack of material for years, so his supporters have had to do some digging in order to come up with new bars. Thus, "Man Up" has surfaced, with Jay acknowledging that the record was recorded years ago, during Bush's first term in office. That puts it somewhere between 2001 and 2005, but it won't stop people from getting excited about it like it's new.

He just dropped his latest EP, Shades of Black, and to celebrate the release, he's given us a free download of a freestyle recorded over Jay Electronica's recent single "Road to Perdition.."

Jay Electronica Feat. Jay Z
VERY HOTTTTT
Ohhh shit. Usually we don't expect much to go down on Fridays, but Jay Electronica shakes things up bright and early with a new release, featuring fellow Jay of the Z variety. Don't get two excited about the two Jays just yet though, because Hov's part is composed of ad-libs from "Success."

Just Blaze
HOTTTTT
The legendary producer Just Blaze just shared an unreleased, untouched beat on his soundcloud, titled "Moleskin Conclusion." As per the cover art, "Moleskin" is an ode to the brand of high-end Italian notebooks. Indeed, if you're a rapper who prefers to write down your lyrics, "Moleskin Conclusion," should channel the pen towards the paper in no time.

VERY HOTTTTT

Better In Tune With The Infinite (Cookin Soul Remix)
Better In Tune With The Infinite (Cookin Soul Remix)
Jay Electronica Feat. LaTonya Givens
HOTTTTT
Jay Electronica shook the game when he released his song, "Better In Tune With The Infinite." The problem with Jay Electronica is that he's so damn good but he so rarely peeps out to give us new music and take his share in the spotlight.  Now the original "Better In Tune With The Infinite" was perfect as is, but Cookin Soul brings us a few new elements to the song. This remix isn't better or worse, but is simply a different take.

Jay Electronica Feat. LaTonya Givens
VERY HOTTTTT
This is nice. It’s not every day we get to hear new music from Jay Electronica. The New Orleans emcee decided to make his return to the music scene on Friday night and release this smooth new record titled “Better in Tune With The Infinite”, featuring singer LaTonya Givens.  This is more of a therapeutic record with heavy piano play and about a minute and a half worth of sampling before anything is heard from Jay Elec. Nonetheless, a super chill and dare I say pretty record. Get lifted and vibe out to this one below.
