Irv Gotti Shares Document Listing 50 Cent As "Informant"
Soon after Meek and 50 started beefing, Murder Inc. founder Irv Gotti decided to back the former, and he left a comment on Meek's Instagram in which he revealed that 50 Cent had filed an "order of protection" against him, his brother (Chris Gotti), and the rapper Black Child. Knowing 50, it was surprising it took him this long, but he has now responded to the Murder Inc. boss.
Ja Rule Names "Back To Back" Among The All-Time Great Diss Tracks
Ja Rule was recently asked by VladTV to name his top 5 diss records of all time. He didn't name any of the tracks to come out of his beef with 50 Cent, but he quickly rattled off a list that should sit well with most hip-hop heads: Boogie Down Productions' "The Bridge is Over," Nas' "Ether," Tupac's "Hit Em Up," Biggie's "Who Shot Ya" -- though he acknowleges that Big denies it was a diss, and Jay Z's "Takeover." 50 Cent & Ja Rule Resurrect Beef On Instagram
It seems the Drake and Meek Mill beef has caused something of a chain reaction. A couple days back, Ja Rule posted on Instagram about comparisons between his own beef with 50 Cent and the current Drizzy fiasco, suggesting that the situations are apples and oranges -- unless, of course, someone gets stabbed or shot. He later clarified the comment was a joke, insisting that he doesn't want to see things escalate, but stressed that the two beefs shouldn't really be mentioned in the same sentence.

If you think back 14 years ago to the first "Fast And The Furious" film, you'll remember that Ja Rule had a role as a driver named Edwin. Go forward to 2003's sequel, "2 Fast 2 Furious," though, and Ja was nowhere to be found, with Ludacris taking his place as the film's resident rapper/actor. John Singleton, director of the first two films, has now revealed that Ja passed on the role of Tej (an expanded version of the Edwin role) in the second film, leading to him approaching Luda for the role.
