50 Cent has been through so much beef, you could probably dedicate a book to the fights he has picked. Throughout his career, he has never been shy to give his honest opinion about fellow rappers. He has mastered the art of the diss song and pretty much wears the crown for being the king at feuding. His moves to out battle his rivals have been smart, conniving and sometimes just plain deep.

Ja Rule, Jay Z, and DMX have had varying degrees of success since, but in the late 90s, all three of them were pretty much on top their game. It was around that time that the three rappers decided to come together for a supergroup, settling for the menacing name Murder Inc. Things never panned out for a full album, and Ja later took the name for his record label, but fans have continued to wonder what could have been for the group.

It's been well over a decade since Eminem reveled in the center of seemingly every fiery controversy in popular culture. Never before had an artist dragged so many bystanders into his path of destruction. His assaults were ghastly, yet outstanding displays of rhyme, cadence and character. In the years of his prime, many would step foolishly into his crossfire, while others simply had it coming. The rest caught stray bullets.

Her first-ever concert in the borough, last night's show was made even more special by the guests J. Lo chose to bring out, including Ja Rule, French Montana and Fat Joe. Blurred Lines: The Integration Of R&B In Hip-Hop

In the '90s the rap and R&B scenes had really emerged in to their own distinctiveness. The R&B scene was dominated by acts like Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, SWV, Ginuwine, Mariah Carey, Brandy and Monica and many many more. Although frequently featured on hip-hop records singing the hook, artists of this genre were still able to maintain their soulful sound and be acknowledged as bonafide R&B acts. The general theme of R&B songs back then were the painful ups and downs of breakups, as well as the need for love. Same goes with hip-hop artists of that era.

This is random enough. Ja Rule happened to take the exact same flight as his once arch-nemesis 50 Cent, and ended up in the same row as Fif also.  Ja tweeted about the coincidence, and it seems like no beef went down during the flight. "What are the chances me and 50 same flight same row no problems!!!" Ja tweeted out late last night.

Ja Rule Admits He "Took The L" In 50 Cent Feud
    Sep 22, 2013 at 09:11 PM
50 Cent has had his share of beefs in his career, but his feud with Ja Rule was one of the first high profile rivalries we saw from him. It was pretty clear from the outside 50 that came out on top, with the rapper rising to the top of the rap game, as Ja's relevance quickly waned. What wasn't evidently clear from this perspective was how Ja's deteriorating presence was directly tied to 50's power in the industry.

Ashanti and Ja Rule were each responsible for more than a few early aughts hits, but nothing connected with audiences more than when they collaborated. Neither of the former-Murder Inc. artists have been very present on the charts for the last few years, partly to do with Ja Rule's recent bid in Prison.

Volume one established the idea that an enduring fan of Hip Hop is committed come hell or more auto-tune. It’s easy to complain about the bad, or to become complacent with the good enough. However, if this metaphorical marriage is going to work out, forgiveness must be given for the mistakes artists make, and fans need to be rewarded with quality product in turn.
