Last night Cube and Common were the musical guests on Fallon, where they performed the funky, feel-good number, "Real People," off the film's soundtrack. And so the beef ended, and they recorded a song about it for the Barbershop 3: The Next Cut official soundtrack. “Me and that nigga, yeah we used to bring the funk/Now we got love and respect like a monk."

For whatever reason, Billboard asked Detroit rapper Big Sean to list his top 5 West Coast emcees of all time. Sean is obviously a student of the game, and he's been listening to West Coast rap since an early age. He remembers getting into serious trouble for playing Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle at Thanksgiving dinner when he was 8 years old.

Since Meek Mill called out Drake for relying on it, ghostwriting has been a hot-button issue in rap once again. Wisely, someone decided to ask Ice Cube (who allegedly wrote the majority of the lyrics on N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton) to weigh in on the new controversy during a recent interview.

Ice Cube was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night to discuss his upcoming N.W.A. film, entitled "Straight Outta Compton." Having "just wrapped principle photography," Cube was clearly amped on the prospect of the upcoming film, which stars his son as a younger version of himself.

Ice Cube stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to promote his upcoming N.W.A. biopic. On top of a brief interview with the talk show host, Cube also agreed to put his trademark aggression on some nice phrases for a segment that recalls a similar sketch the two did in 2013. This isn't the first time that Cube has ventured into the comedy world. In fact, he's built an entire career off of the genre since appearing in the "Friday" series back in 1995. His comedic chops are on full display here, drawing big laughs from the audience with little more than a few words.

Ice Cube is still prepping his album Everythang's Corrupt, although we don't have a release date yet. We heard this single featuring Redfoo and 2 Chainz at the end of June, and it received mixed reactions on the site. Cube is attempting the EDM-rap influence however fans may have enjoyed something a little more traditional from the OG. The video is almost as weird as the song, if not more so, as Cube, Redfoo and Tity Boi turn into bobble heads that work in a science lab, all in an effort to make girls drop their asses.

Ice Cube definitely has a look of displeasure that sits naturally on his face, although he's probably not upset all the time. Jimmy Kimmel noticed this and brought it up when the rapper paid a visit to his late night show, and he enlisted the former N.W.A. MC to say a few sentences that would sound soft in any other context, except for when Cube says them.  Cube puts on his best angry voice to say shit like, "OMG, did you do something with your hair? I love it."  Watch it above for a laugh.
