Jerry Heller Sues Dr. Dre, Ice Cube & "Straight Outta Compton" For $110 Million
Jerry Heller, the former manager of N.W.A., is suing all those involved in the group's recent biopic, Straight Outta Compton, for (at least) $110 million, reports TMZ. Heller, now 75, has just filed a lawsuit against Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, the estate of Eazy-E, NBC Universal, and others for defamation and using his likeness in their film without his permission.

Ice Cube Stops Show When Fight Breaks Out
Ice Cube was performing last night in Long Beach, when mid-performance, a fist fight broke out right near the front row. Cube definitely looks like the kind of man who will take no bullshit, and so he abruptly ended his show, announcing "show over." Kanye's VMA speech was a rare moment where everyone seemed to be on the rapper's side, even when he announced he'd be running for president in 2020. The support for Kanye's campaign has continued throughout the week, and as it happened to be the hot topic, Ice Cube was asked about his stance on the matter in an interview with the Daily Mail. Naturally, he was on board. "I'm voting for Kanye," said Cube confidently, suggesting West is pretty much the best man for the job. "Why not? Who Else? Who's better than Kanye to run?"

"Straight Outta Compton" had a strong opening day, garnering $24.2 million in ticket sales in 2,754 North American theaters. Thursday night screenings raked in an estimated $4.96 million alone. The film is now projected to net $59.4 million over the course of its opening weekend, according to Deadline.
