DeAndre Byrd, better known as Main Event(Main E), is an American Artist, who was born on February 8,1989 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta,GA. Raised by his single hard working mother, Main E grew up in College Park,GA with his older brother. Tired of seeing his mother do and take care of everything on her own Main Event started hanging with his older brother and his friends while they rapped at the park. Hearing all their different styles Main E picked up and pen and pad and wrote his first rap. " Thats the day I married music", he said. Determined to be the best Main Event wrote four songs a day about everyday life and the things that he was going threw. Graduating from Tri-Cities High School in East Point,GA, Main Event said he learned that your friends aren't your friends and if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
