Blast4Me (Pronounced Blast-4-Me) The next big thing from Wyandanch - Long Island, New York; a place that has produced more than its share of seminal rap artist. Influenced by “Strong Island” rap icons Rakim, Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes as well as the new age entertainers such as Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie and Tupac, just to name a few. Blast, recalls that it wasn’t just the genius of their lyrical delivery that caught his attention, it was the message. “I make my music with substance” says Blast. “Instead of constantly talking about the struggle, I show people how to overcome life’s obstacles through my music.” Being the first artist introduced by The OnMyGrind Mpire, Blast4Me’s impending explosion onto the Hip Hop music scene is imminent. With a lyrical game this tight, no doubt rap fans will take notice. Although recently LEAKED from his forthcoming Change The Game LP, the new single – TYRA (Top Model) has been heatseeking in the clubs, on the radio, via YouTube & all throughout the internet (FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace etc). It’s guaranteed to be the ladies anthem for 2010 & beyond! Now, currently on a Coast II Coast promotional tour, showcasing his mixtape project Remember Da Name. Blast performs the hard hittin’ and provocative song Take U There. He drops lyrical gems with authority while fluently flipping parables, conveying his support of bringing NY Hip Hop’s recognition back to the forefront and denouncing the misconception of East Coast rap music, as being Dead! While Blast4Me’s message is straight from the streets, the goals for his forthcoming LP is to be the bridge between the underground and the radio-friendly hit that’s bumping in the clubs. When asked about his vision toward his music and style, Blast states, “I make music for everybody. You can either rock your hoodies & timbs or even a suit & tie while knocking to my music.” Blast4Me – Remember Da Name!
