Born in Lima, OH and residing in Columbus, OH, Hodgie has garnered respect from numerous outlets and become a figure within the Ohio hip hop Circuit. At the age of 20, Hodgie formed his independent label 1700 Entertainment. In 2007 Hodgie received publishing notoriety for penciling Chubby Baby’s 2007 Underground hit “OH YEA” featuring Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana. At the same moment Hodgie's single "Raindrops" was also noticed nation wide with production from B-BANGA (camron’s suck it/or not) creating interest in southern markets; Atlanta & Miami. In 2009, Hodgie was invited to a Gucci Mane studio session which lead to them recording party anthem ‘’What’s Up’’ , again turning heads of Midwest taste-makers. Hodgie’s had a productive 2011 show schedule performing live with new age artist; Mac Miller, Fly Union, Rockie Fresh, & Chip Tha Ripper not to mention a mid-west college tour with Chicago legend Twista. In April, Hodgie released “1986” joint-EP release with DJ Giovanny to celebrate their identical birth dates and to musically pay homage to Statik Selektah & Terminology’s classic album ‘’1982’’. As for what’s next for Hodgie Street; he’s currently working in the studio with Elevetor Muzik’s Artist/Producer Rashad Thomas (STALLEY Lincoln Way Nights full LP) prepping his next release The Go In 2 with DJ EV, due out Spring 2012
