Following up his “Guns And Butter” collab with Cormega, MMG’s Gunplay decides to come through tonight and share a new remix he did over Young Greatness’ “Moolah” record.
Guns And Butter
Guns And Butter
Cormega & Gunplay
VERY HOTTTTT
Cormega & Gunplay may appear like an unlikely duo to collaborate, but their shared experiences surviving in the streets brings them together for "Guns & Butter," a rumination on street life and the justice system produced by Harry Fraud.

DJ Kay Slay Feat. Loaded Lux, Young Chris & Gunplay
HOTTTTT
DJ Kay Slay has been rolling out a ton of new music in support of his upcoming 50 Shades Of Slay mixtape, and it doesn’t look like he’s ready to stop.
Chillin N Killin
Chillin N Killin
Gunplay Feat. Young Breed
HOTTTTT
Gunplay dropped his first record of 2016 today, linking up with Young Breed for "Chillin N Killin". The two were in Triple C’s with Rick Ross. The MMG rapper spits gritty, gangsta bars over a rumbling bass line broken up by slapping snares and an ominous bell sample. Staying true to his name, Gunplays raps on the chorus “they still making guns / go’n get you one.” Young Breed gets the last verse on the menacing track.
Jumpman (Freestyle)
Jumpman (Freestyle)
Gunplay
HOTTTTT
Gunplay takes on Metro Boomin's production today for his own "Jumpman" freestyle. It's a valiant attempt, however none of the "Jumpman" freestyles really stack up beside Drake and Future's original. Gunplay just goes in for two minutes, and swaps in his own name, "Gunplay," for the "Jumpman" hook. We haven't really heard from the MMG counterpart since his underwhelming debut album, Living Legend. We'll have to see if he can bring back that excitement and energy around his career, which was at its peak two years ago.
Wood Wheel (Freestyle)
Wood Wheel (Freestyle)
Gunplay Feat. Peryon J Kee
HOTTTTT
Gunplay has been releasing a string of freestyles since his long-awaited debut album, Living Legend, finally got a release date. While he's mainly been targeting recent instrumentals, today, he's picked a UGK classic, "Wood Wheel". Coming off the duo's 2001 effort, it's not the first record you'd think of from the iconic act, but it certainly works fro Don Logan and his frequent collaborator, Peryon J Kee, who each deliver some memorable rhymes over the beat.

VERY HOTTTTT
We’re two weeks out from Gunplay’s highly anticipated debut album, Living Legend, and today we’re blessed with another new record from it. Following last week’s “Be Like Me” collab with Rick Ross, Gunplay decides to come through and do it all over again, this time sharing “Blood On The Dope” featuring Yo Gotti, PJK, and Rick Ross once again.

Taking a break from the onslaught of freestyles that he’s been dropping off lately, Gunplay decides to get back to the original music tonight and share a new leak off his upcoming Living Legend album titled “Be Like Me” featuring MMG bawse Rick Ross.

Gunplay
VERY HOTTTTT
Gunplay's Living Legend album is finally coming out at the end of the month, and the release date has meant a collection of new freestyles from the Florida spitter. His most recent finds him going in over Rico Richie's regional hit, "Poppin'". The gritty trap beat is a perfect palette for Don Logan (but let's be real, pretty much anything is at this point). He begins with a pretty amazing opening line ("They call me Gunplay, I bet you know why"), before trying out some unique flows, landing each punchline like a fist to the stomach.

While we wait for Gunplay’s highly anticipated Living Legend album to arrive on July 31st, the MMG labelmate continues to roll out new freestyles in the meantime.

With his album finally receiving a release date (July 31st), Gunplay's clearly done working on Living Legend, but he isn't ready to hang up his cleats and relax quite yet. After sharing his "Living Legend 7/31" freestyle earlier this week, he returns with a freestyle over another serious Southern spitter's track. Check out his take on Kevin Gates' "John Gotti."

VERY HOTTTTT
Next month, we'll finally get to hear Gunplay's long-in-the-works debut album, Living Legend, which is now slated for a July 31st release. He celebrated that with the "Living Legend 7/31" freestyle a few days ago, and now he's shared another track, though it's unclear if it'll end up on the album.
WuzHaninDoe
WuzHaninDoe
Gunplay Feat. YG
VERY HOTTTTT
As we learned on his early tapes like 601 & Snort, Florida's Gunplay is capable of spitting over anything, from gritty RZA tracks to bombastic MMG singles. Today, he faces a new challenge: the West Coast style of ratchet music. Assisting him on his new single "WuzHaninDoe" are the dream team of YG and DJ Mustard, who do little to stifle their usual sound.
Aiight (Darq E Freaker Remix)
Aiight (Darq E Freaker Remix)
Gunplay Feat. Rick Ross
HOTTTTT
Darq E Freaker's hypnotically infectious banger, "Cherryade" put him on the map in the UK, but it wasn't until Danny Brown started collaborating with the producer that his name began to hold weight in North America. Freaker continues his experiments with rap today with a remix of the always entertaining Gunplay.
Tell 'Em Daddy
Tell 'Em Daddy

HOTTTTT
As promised, Gunplay has delivered a new single, and this one is definitely not a bid for radio. "Tell 'Em Daddy" mixes screeching G-Funk synths with jangling trap production, but as usual, Don Logan greatly overshadows his instrumental. Taking four minutes to tell us exactly who he is through ferocious punchlines and colorful imagery, the MMG Rapper carves out a perfect street single that bodes well for his long-awaited Living Legend project.
Lane 2 Lane
Lane 2 Lane
DJ EFN Feat. Gunplay & Denzel Curry
HOTTTTT
At this rate, DJ EFN's gonna have every rapper known to humanity on his new project. That's obviously an exaggeration, but having already nabbed guest spots from Killer Mike, Crooked I, Your Old Droog and Royce Da 5'9" (to name a few) for his upcoming project Another Time, and today Gunplay and Denzel Curry join the list. This time, the track's called "Lane 2 Lane," and it's produced by Hazardis Soundz. Quotable Lyrics

While he's put out "lead" singles sporadically over the last year or so, there's still no sign of a release date for Gunplay's Living Legend. While he may seem perpetually benched, following Stalley's Ohio, and Rozay's TWO major label albums last year, it's clear that his MMG boss gets results.

The other week Gunplay announced that on New Year's Day he'd be changing his name from the lovable Gunplay to Don Logan. We'll have to see if the MMG rapper really follows through tomorrow, he's already started by changing his screen name on twitter, but his twitter handle remains @gunplaymmg. Nonetheless, Don Logan hits us with a new single today off his long-awaited Living Legend album.
