Gunplay, AKA Don Logan, has had a rough ride as a rapper. Once a ghost writer for Trina, alongside his current employer Rick Ross, he has spent the last few years adapting himself to the current rap landscape, painting himself as a lyrically adept yet drug-addled maniac; if you wanted to reduce him to absolute caricature, imagine a guy dressed like Waka Flocka Flame doing the scene from "Always Sunny" where Charlie Day kicks open the door of a van while screaming out "WILD CARD, BITCHES!!!!" Yeah, that guy made a rap album.

Gunplay's debut album is finally on its way. The MMG rapper revealed the official cover art earlier in the week, and has now come through with the official tracklist. The LP is an economic 11 tracks. It has a good number of features, but not to an overwhelming degree. As we saw on previously released tracks, YG, Rick Ross, Stalley, and Curren$y make guest appearances, as do PJK, Triple Cs, Yo Gotti, and Masspike Miles.

Gunplay Discusses Features On "Medellin" & Upcoming Verse For Lil Wayne's LP
Even through out his legal troubles, Gunplay has remained with a foot in the rap door, dropping mixtapes and singles leading up to his solo debut, Medellin. We haven't had many details on Medellin as of yet, although Gunplay does have plans to drop his Bogota mixtape prior to its release.

Gunplay has been signed to Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group since 2009, and he still hasn't released his debut album. He changed the album title to Living Legend in May 2013, and today, the South Florida rapper finally gives us a 2015 release date. On Instagram, Gunplay (or Don Logan) let his fans know that his debut album is coming in May. He also said he's got a new single called "Tell Em Daddy", which is playing in the background, coming this week. Gunplay is now 35, so there's a lot riding on Living Legend.

Nine months of 2014 have come and gone with absolutely no news pertaining to Living Legend, Gunplay's long-awaited debut album. Today, we receive some consolation in the form of a mixtape announcement. Gunplay, as the mixtape is set to be titled, is set to arrive in just two days, on Wednesday, October 8th. Tomorrow, the MMG rapper will release a track from the tape called "Jumping Off Da Beam," which will also feature N.O.R.E. he tweeted about the track today:
