Gabe Caruso
Gabe Caruso wrote his first rap for a sketch comedy group in 2006. When it was well received he began writing raps casually as they came to him. In 2009 he laid down a few tracks with Struggle Life in New Orleans, and later that year he moved to Chicago to pursue his hop-hop career more aggressively. He began recording with Myner1 of R.T.A., (which he later joined,) and In August of 2011 he was featured on Soundcloud’s “Soundcloud Local: Chicago” where he received praise for his consistent tracks and wide-reaching collaborations. In July of 2012 he opened for Mic One, and a few months later joined forces with Greydon Square’s Grand Unified. In December of 2012 he launched his debut album “Me vs. Rent,” which contains beats/collaborations with six producers from five countries. Right now he is currently working on finishing up his current project RJMe2, slated for late February, which features all RJD2 beats.
