G.Blanco

G.Blanco is an American Rapper, Singer, and Songwriter. G.Blanco was born and raised in Long Island, NY. Her stage name G.Blanco was derived from the infamous 80’s drug lord Griselda Blanco; who during the 1970’s and 80’s led a lifestyle of drug dealing, violence and jail incarceration. G.Blanco started rapping at the age of nine after being inspired by Lisa Left Eye Lopez from the group TLC. G.Blanco released two mixtapes under the name Young Klee the first being “Queen of Kings” released in the United Kingdom with verses from rap group Street Politiks and Blackhand recording artist Graph, at this time she was being mentored by “Sweets” an ex drug dealer who held basketball tournaments and gave back to the community after being shot. G.Blanco released her second mixtape on Horror Family Records which grew her fan base and gain her notoriety in underground hip-hop. During her teenage years G.Blanco would enter rap battles showcasing her lyrical skills against other students attending her High school. In 2008 G.Blanco signed with Keep It Coming Records and linked up with Five Towns College Graduate Delton Warrick better known as Drollic Beats. Together the duo developed a new sound and G.Blanco started writing hip-hop, pop and R&B songs under the name “Ms. Klee”. The songs received a great response from the public but after the label did not release music nor hold up to the contract G.Blanco and Drollic left the label. In late 2010 G.Blanco teamed back up with Drollic Beats to produce her debut album and work alongside fellow singer/songwriter Yancey to produce songs under the group moniker “The Maniax”. G.Blanco is currently working on her 2011 debut album alongside fellow producer Drollic Beats. Contact: Info.GBlanco@Gmail.com Follow G.
