50 Cent and the squad dropped their new EP, The Beast Is G-Unit today, and now they've shared the video for highlight, "I'm Grown", which seems like the one they'll be marketing as the radio single from the project. The Unit have reached down south for some inspired production from prolific Atlanta beatmaker, Honorable C-Note, who gives them a hard, horn-sampling record that's not pinned to any particular region, and fits the group's range of styles perfectly.
  • G-Unit On The Breakfast Club
    G-Unit On The Breakfast Club
The original members of G-Unit hit up The Breakfast Club for an interview this morning, promoting their new EP The Beast Is G-Unit which impacted today. Fif takes a handle on most of the conversation, starting off by detailing his new venture with EFN Vodka, the light Instagram beef with A$AP Rocky, the rift between Young Money and Cash Money (which 50 brings some perspective to) and more. Watch the interview above, which spans almost an hour. Grab the new EP on iTunes below, or you can stream it on the homepage shortly. Let us know if you're digging the it.

    DJ Whoo Kid Interviews G-Unit
Earlier today, G-Unit members 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Yony Yayo and Kidd Kidd stopped by DJ Whoo Kid's "Whoolywood Shuffle" on Shade 45. Whoo Kid is currently signed to G-Unit and has hosted countless G-Unit mixtapes. He grants his labelmates a special 90 minute interview, in which each rapper gets extensive time on the mic. Over the course of the interview, they discuss upcoming projects, such as the upcoming The Beast is G-Unit EP. They also share their thoughts on Drake, Bobby Shmurda, Eminem, Dr. Dre and more.

Young Buck "New Years Cake" Video
Yesterday, Young Buck celebrated the dawn of 2015 with a freestyle over Drake's "Pound Cake" entitled "New Years Cake." Less than 24 hours later, he's shared a video to go along with it.  A simple video that shows Buck hard at work in the studio, the "New Years Cake" visuals add little to the track, but are still a must-see for Buck fans who love seeing him in his element. In his bars, Buck says "R&B bitches" want to fuck him again (thanks G-Unit reunion), raps about hanging with DJ Drama and Don Cannon in their studio in Atlanta and keeping 50 Cent calm.

G-Unit reunited at this year's Summer Jam, and they haven't looked back since. The iconic crew began releasing a new track nearly every week upon the announcement, and later organized a few of the original records for their Beauty Of Independence mixtape.

G-Unit's Beauty Of Independence EP hit Best Buy shelves earlier in the month, and today the group have decided to liberate the Kidd Kidd-fronted "Big Body Benz" for a music video. Of course the clip features some big whips pretty prominently, while the members of G-Unit re-capture the energy we came to expect from them back in the Beg For Mercy days.
  • G-Unit's XXL Reunion Documentary (Part 3)
G-Unit's XXL Reunion Documentary (Part 3)
With parts one and two arriving in the past few weeks, part three of the XXL G-Unit documentary has dropped today. Watch it above. Shot entirely in black and white, the third installment shows all the crew members inside of 50 Cent's house and atop the Manhattan high-rise they've been photographed on recently. This part seems to collect footage from each member's individual profile, all of which were dropped in the past few days.

XXL continues rolling out material from their G-Unit documentary (parts one and two here) with an individual profile of Tony Yayo dropping today.
  • Lloyd Banks Profile From G-Unit Documentary
Lloyd Banks Profile From G-Unit Documentary
XXL recently profiled G-Unit in a two-part documentary focused on their reunion. This comes hand-in-hand with their magazine cover of the NY crew. Apart from the group documentary, XXL has been rolling out individual profiles of each rapper in the Unit, and today, it's Lloyd Banks' turn. Banks is one of the most low-key rappers out there, it's rare that we see him in an interview, but it's good to hear his side of things when it comes to G-Unit getting back together. He speaks on how he functions in the studio and more.
  • G-Unit's XXL Reunion Documentary (Part 2)
G-Unit's XXL Reunion Documentary (Part 2)
The other day G-Unit appeared in a new XXL documentary, where each member was around a table for a round table discussion about their past, present and future. Today we get the second part of the documentary, which runs another 33 minutes (so combined that's like an hour and a half long). The second part continues that same round table discussion, as they talk about their relationship and finally reuniting for the first time at Summer Jam this past summer.

    XXL's G-Unit Documentary Trailer
G-Unit recently appeared on the cover of the final print edition of XXL-- definitely a bitter-sweet endeavor (or just bitter?). Along with the cover and interview, XXL is prepping a documentary on the rap crew. They've let go a trailer today, which really doesn't explain much, but does the job to get you excited for what's to come.

    G-Unit "Changes" Video
Back in August, G-Unit released the first of their two 2014 EPs, The Beauty Of Independence, and thought they announced yesterday that the follow-up was delayed, the Unit gave fans compensation by sharing a video for the first EP's "Changes."  A piano-led ballad that's rather out-of-character among the rest of the freestyles and street anthems in group's 2014 output, "Changes" opens with 50 Cent recalling the most trying moments of his career, which include strained ties with former cohorts Dr. Dre and Eminem.
