Summer Jam 2014 Recap
Yesterday the HNHH staff had the pleasure of attending Hot 97's 21st annual Summer Jam, which true to its reputation, ended up being an evening packed with great performances, surprises and even some drama. With the event split into two stages, one in the Festival Village and one in Metlife Stadium, we first hung out at the former with Iggy Azalea, Chinx, Mack Wilds, Childish Gambino and Jhene Aiko before moving inside the stadium for the night's headliners.

50 Cent recently sat down to talk with Hot 97, and it was definitely a lengthy interview, broken up into two parts it lasted an hour. The topics they broached were plentiful, including the New York rap scene and whether or not it's been revived, G-Unit and crews in general, as well as Summer Jam, and 50 sitting on a plane beside Ja Rule and his beef with the rapper (and Rick Ross beef).
G-Unit Reunites At Summer Jam
Apparently 50 likes his milk spoiled. Just a few months after referring to his G-Unit associates as "having an expiration date," the general has officially reunited live onstage with Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. Tonight's Summer Jam performance marks the first time the entire group has performed together since 2008 when 50 leaked audio of Buck crying to him for advice to the internet, prompting a split between the Straight Outta Ca$hville rapper and the G-Unit head honcho. This is also 50 Cent's first time headlining a Summer Jam show in over a decade.
50 Cent Won His Lawsuit Against WorldStarHipHop
50 Cent filed a lawsuit against WorldStarHipHop.com back in 2009, after his image was used on the header of the website without his permission. Fif argued that the picture left visitors with the impression that the rapper owned or was affiliated with the site. 5 years later, a judge has ruled that 50 be given "summary judgment on copyright and right of publicity claims", as well as rejecting defenses of fair use of the image.

50 Cent Calls Joe Budden A "Bitch" On Twitter
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is the producer of, as well as a recurring cast member in, the Starz TV show "Power". Last night, 50 tweeted that "Power" will return on June 6, including a short trailer for the upcoming season, and the quote: "Empires are built on POWER". Joe Budden soon quoted 50's tweet, following with "They petty lol". Joe was apparently referencing the quote at the end of the trailer, "It only starts a war if they know you did it," but 50 initially took Joe's tweet as a diss, and quickly responded with, "what you say bitch!!"
