Born and raised in the Bronx, New York the home of hip-hop Fresh Money always knew as a child he wanted to be a great M.C.
Influenced by artist such as Krs-One, Big Daddy Kane, Wu-tang Clan, Jay -Z, and the Notorious B.I.G, just to name a few he knew that he wanted to follow in their footsteps and make good music.
It wasn’t until the summer of 99 when him and two childhood friends had the chance to meet with Violator Management CEO Chris Lighty though he was highly impressed Lighty felt that Fresh and his friends needed to write more so with that being said Fresh wrote rhymes consistently seeing that he was so close he knew he couldn’t fall back now.
Later that year Fresh and his two childhood friends B-Train and Belvy started recording numerous songs together Belvy who is also the CEO of TRE entertainment personally handpicked Fresh and Train to join the team and be part of the biggest movement in the Bronx they continued to record with plans of dropping a mixtape unfortunately Fresh moved to Virginia and the mixtape was put on hold .
Upon his return to the Bronx in 2002 Fresh hooked up with another childhood friend P. Pretty aka Dow Jones and they decided to start a label together Gotham City Records working and writing with different artist and eventually putting out there own mixtape titled a Bronx Tale Based On A True Story.
In 2006 he continued to stay on his grind and gain recognition with his music linking up with 16’s Ent and featuring on several songs with several artist on the label.
In 2007 Fresh Money dropped his debut mixtape titled In Money We Trust to good reviews both on the internet and in the streets. Now fast forward to 2010 and Fresh Money is set to drop his debut EP titled The Addiction.
