Fresh Ave. aka Miguel Selva was a Latin American Rap artist. Raised in South Central LA by a single mother of 4, he turned to the streets to help support himself and his family. Through all his struggles, his dream was always to make it big in the music industry. He started rapping at 13 and moved to Las Vegas in '02 where he quickly became one of the most respected MCs in the city. Especially known for his battlling skills, he's been credited as the reason for the start of ahat.com, a popular viral rap battle league. He was known for his battles and slick punchlines but was also very lyrical. He was a true MC, his raps filled with detailed stories of his life and the things he saw and dealt with on a daily basis. He was the voice of the streets. He worked hard for years to acheive his goals, proving himself to be a factor in both South Central and Vegas. He had recorded a good amount of music up to his untimely death January 17, 2010. But he and his music lives on through this mixtape as well as his full length album "The Labor" coming soon...
