Going Crazy (CDQ)
Jeezy Feat. French Montana
Earlier this week, Jeezy gave HOT 97 permission to debut a new Trap Or Die 3 record with French Montana called "Going Crazy." The song is now available on all streaming platforms. On "Going Crazy," producer D-Nice deploys a maximalist beat that evokes the "trap" sound of 10 years ago, when Jeezy had just released TM 101, rather than "trap" circa 2016. As such, the song knocks equally hard in the club and the '05 Honda Accord. Some songs just sound better in a car.
Going Crazy (Radio Rip)
Jeezy Feat. French Montana
On October 28, Jeezy will release the third installment in his Trap Or Die series, which will feature 16 tracks & guest appearances from the likes of Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown, French Montana, Yo Gotti, Plies, and the late Bankroll Fresh to name a few. But before that arrives next Friday, the ATL veteran decided to give Hot 97 the green light to premiere another leak off the album ahead of time tonight called “Going Crazy” featuring French Montana.
French Montana Feat. Max B & Chinx
French Montana recently announced that he made the decision to scrap MC4 entirely, and start a new studio album from scratch-- which he confirmed was about 70% complete, although he's keeping the details of it tightly under wraps to avoid leaks, like what happened with MC4.
Chinx Feat. French Montana & Mavado
With the recent release of Chinx's second posthumous album Legends Never Die, the world was blessed with a whole arsenal of new music in the memory of the late Queens MC. Today we bring you "Legendary," a cut off the LP featuring fellow-Coke Boy French Montana & the one and only Mavado (fresh off closing DJ Khaled's Major Key).
Black Eyed Peas Feat. The World
The Black Eyed Peas' 2003 single "Where is the Love?" is one of the most popular songs of the millenium. With humanity still hurting, Will.I.Am and the gang have engineered a remix called "#WHERESTHELOVE" featuring 50+ celebrities, including Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky, Mary J.
French Montana Feat. Miguel
It’s safe to say the rollout for French Montana’s long awaited Mac N Cheese 4 album hasn’t gone to plan. After a second setback due to “clearance issues” last month, and then an employee at Target putting the CD on the shelves for a few hours, ultimately causing the album to leak online, MC4 is now readying a new release date for October 16.
Young M.A Feat. French Montana
Young M.A.'s cold-hearted "OOOUUU," released in May, is now starting to blow up. And she's got another one, last month's "Summer Story," that's looking to go down a similar path. Both tracks have received compelling videos that highlight her rare Brooklyn-bred grittiness.
French Montana Feat. Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss & Styles P
French Montana's MC4 has been delayed (again), pushed back from August 19 to the tentative release date of October 14th. French broke the news this week on Twitter "Due to some sample clearances that are still being worked out, I have to move the album release date," he wrote.
Where You At
Mally Mall Feat. French Montana, 2 Chainz & Iamsu!
Las Vegas rapper and producer Mally Mal is noted for being able to put together unexpected collaborations from big-time emcees from all around the country. After dropping a new joint from up-and-comer Jazz Lazer and Post Malone, Mally's latest drop, "Where You At," brings together French Montana, 2 Chainz, and Iamsu! Those three trade high-energy party raps over the synth-heavy club production, while Mally is responsible for the clean and concise hook.
Said N Done
French Montana Feat. A$AP Rocky
On August 19, French Montana will finally release his long awaited sophomore album Mac N Cheese 4, which will feature a star-studded line up consisting of Kanye West, Drake, Nas, Jeezy, Miguel, Beanie Sigel, Max B, the late Chinx, and more.
Fat Joe & Remy Ma Feat. French Montana & RySoValid
Fat Joe and Remy Ma have a collaborative album on the way, and now that their surprise hit, "All The Way Up," has solidified itself as one of the songs of the summer, they've returned with a new single that once again feature's fellow New Yorker, French Montana. RySoValid also appears on the song, supplying the powerful hook, "it look like I've been cooking!"
Trap House (Remix)
Smoke Dawg Feat. French Montana
Right now, young Niagara producer Murda Beatz is getting deep into his special guest mix on OVO Sound Radio, and listeners are ready to hear new material off PartyNextDoor's P3, which is expected to feature at least a couple of Murda productions. As usual, Oliver El-Khatib opened tonight's show. He usually lets the guests come in with the majority of exclusives, but he did top off his set with a new remix of Smoke Dawg's "Trap House," featuring French Montana.
It was announced yesterday that French Montana and Drake's highly anticipated collab, "No Shopping," would be dropping during tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio. It did, and the Murda Beatz-produced track (which you can listen to here) certainly lived up to its expectations. That wasn't the only exclusive French gifted to OVO Sound host Oliver El-Khatib, though.
French Montana Feat. Kodak Black & Gucci Mane
"Lockjaw" is one of the waviest tracks that French Montana has ever put out. It just entered the Billboard Hot 100, and its climb up the chart will likely continue for the whole summer. He's had similar tracks that have been slept on, but all the ingredients of "Lockjaw" were arranged too perfectly for it not to be a hit. Graced with an ethereal ambient trap production from the criminally underrated Ben Billions, the track features arguably the game's hottest young act in Kodak Black, who brilliantly calms his usual flow to match French's ideal tempo.
French Montana Feat. Drake
OVO Sound Radio has been enjoying its bi-weekly residency on Beats 1 radio for over a year now. It seems that Oliver El-Khatib & co. have something crazy in store for every single episode. That's certainly proven to be the case tonight. Though Popcaan is the official guest star of tonight's show, French Montana made an appearance during Oliver El-Khatib's opening set, and he proceeded to drop three new exclusives in a row.
In My Foreign
The Americanos Feat. Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana & Lil Yachty
Ty Dolla $ign just delivered his Future-assisted single, "Campaign" earlier today, and he's now taking part in another big collaboration, proving the sweet, summery hook on "In My Foreign". L.A.'s DJ Felli Fel, Lex Larson and Louie Rubio unite as The Americanos here, providing a nostalgic, shuffling piano line for Dolla to lead, handing off the verses to French, who keeps it simple and effective, as well as Lil Yachty, who takes his auto-tuned falsetto to the stars, making for another scene-stealing feature (his "Mixtape" verse from Coloring Book is undeniable).
WizKid, Chris Brown, Trey Songz & French Montana
The Nigerian rising star known as WizKid, a vital part of Drake's record-setting hit "One Dance," has come through today with the official version of "Shabba," a track dedicated to the Jamaican dancehall legend Shabba Ranks. Aside from WizKid, the party-starting anthem features the all-star cast of Chris Brown, Trey Songz, French Montana, and Mike Will Made-It, who handles the production.
Shmoney Aint A Problem (Remix)
Diddy Feat. French Montana, Chinx , Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel
If you remember, Puffy Daddy released his MMM album last year, which featured the song “Money Ain’t A Problem” on it with French Montana. Back in December, that record saw a remix featuring Chinx surface, and now today we have another one for y’all with some of Brooklyn’s youngest & most notorious rappers Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel.
All The Way Up (Westside Remix)
Fat Joe & Remy Ma Feat. Snoop Dogg, The Game, E-40 & French Montana
Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All The Way Up" has been a consistent presence in New York over the last few months, and judging by its chart placements, NY isn't the only place listening. Still, it always helps to have some regional talent on a record to get radio play elsewhere, and today, the "Westside Remix" of the record has done just that, adding verses from L.A.'s The Game, Long Beach's Snoop Dogg, and The Bay's E-40. They all bring their own flavor to the record, finding pockets NY rappers probably wouldn't even see on the beat. So is the beauty of regional styles.
All The Way Up (David Guetta & GLOWINTHEDARK Remix)
Fat Joe & Remy Ma Feat. French Montana
While Fat Joe’s comeback with Remy Ma was initially met with some trepidation by the younger part of the hip hop community, those concerns have been put to rest by the surprising success of their hit “All The Way Up.” It’s already received a very high profile remix from Jay Z (as well as countless unofficial freestyles), and today Fat Joe’s increasingly large band o
