Archibald Slim Feat. Father, KeithCharles Spacebar, Ethereal "LMK" Video
Amidst a crew full of vocalists who consistently blur the line between rapping and singing, Awful Records' Archibald Slim has been our best source for bar-for-bar lyricism and no-nonsense hooks. He's often clowned by his crewmates on social media for being the group's resident old head, but on the crew's recent cut "LMK," he shows he's very capable of carrying a melody.

Father Talks About "The Wu-Tang Hole" & Being A Nerd On HOT 97
Father's audience has been growing steadily with every release, and as one of the more promising young artists in the game, he landed a spot on Peter Rosenberg's up-and-comer showcase, Real Late. The conversation strays pretty far from music at points, with the two discussing Father's early love of Anime, inevitably leading to the subject of Anime porn, as well as the rapper's nerd beginnings.

Maxo Kream Feat. Father "Cell Boomin" Video
"Cell Boomin" is off Maxo Kream's recent mixtape MAXO 187, which put the young Houston rapper on the map. For the video, though, he gets Atlanta's Father to join in, making the track that much better. Both Maxo and Father are part of a new school of trap-inspired rappers who shove the drugs down your throat with such deadpan delivery, it makes you wonder if they're joking. They also turn bygone trap motifs into Twitter-friendly catchphrases. And they're bringing back the flip phone.
  • Nardwuar Vs. Father & Awful Records
Nardwuar Vs. Father & Awful Records
Nardwuar, aka The Human Serviette, was the busiest man at this year's SXSW. We've already seen him interview Rae Sremmurd, Migos, iLoveMakonnen, Wale, and Mike WiLL Made-It, and the endlessly entertaining interviews continue to roll in. For his latest, Nardwuar sought out another Atlanta artist, Father, and his friends from Awful Records. After meeting Father, the Awful Records head honcho introduces us to Slug Christ, Micah Freeman, Lui Diamonds, Keith Charles "Spacebar", and Abra, the lone lady of the group.

Right before SXSW went down, Awful Records' rapper on the come-up, Father, dropped off a surprise album Who's Gonna Get Fucked First? After hitting up a bunch shows in Austin, Father returns to the e-streets with the release of a music video for one the album's closers, "Suicide Party," featuring Slug Christ and KeithCharles Spacebar.

Father Feat. iLoveMakonnen & RichPoSlim "Young Hot Ebony (Remix)" Video
Earlier this month, iLoveMakonnen and RichPoSlim hopped on the title track of Father's Young Hot Ebony project from last year, and today a video has arrived. Oddly enough, none of the three ATL rappers are featured in the clip, with some young hot women starring in their place instead.

    Father "Spoil You Rotten" Video
Lately Awful Records' Father's been plottin' to slip you out those cottons, or so he says on "Spoil You Rotten", a track that originally dropped back in November. Today, a video has surfaced, and it features the mustachioed rapper/producer getting up close and personal with a sexy model.

Boogz Boogetz Feat. Father "OOO He Hot" Video
A sure highlight from Boogz Boogetz's recent C.O.O.L. 2 project was "OO He Hot," a collaboration with Awful Records' ringleader, Father. Sounding like an inebriated outtake from Father's Young Hot Ebony, the track gets a fittingly turnt video today. Seemingly filmed during the recording of the song in the studio, the "OO He Hot" video has Boogetz and L1L D1DDY wylin' out, rolling blunts, sipping liquor and flirting with some girls on the couch.

Meet Awful Records' Father, Archibald Slim & Playboi Carti
Consisting of 15 members and covering just about as many genres, the Awful Records crew are coming off a big 2014 in which they released almost too much music to keep track of, and saw Father break out with the hit "Look At Wrist." A few of them were in NYC for some shows last week, so HNHH got a chance to sit down with three of the squad's core members: Father, Archibald Slim and Playboi Carti.

As a member of the Awful Records clique in Atlanta, RichPoSlim describes himself as the crew's Dame Dash. Today, he makes his debut as a solo artist on HNHH (he previously popped up on Archibald Slim's He's Drunk!) with the "Pretty Corpse" video, which also features Father and KCSB (KeithCharles Spacebar).

Father Feat. Slug Christ & Stalin Majesty "Ignore" Video
When Father and his Awful Records crew came through to NYC for October's CMJ festival, they were the talk of the town for the week. While up north, they also took some time to record a video for Father's track "Ignore" with The FADER, and today the video's been released.

Father Feat. iLoveMakonnen & Key! "Look At Wrist" Live At CMJ
Last week, quite a few amazing hip-hop showcases went down in NYC as part of the CMJ festival. Although all were fun, one was substantially more turnt than the others: an SOB's show featuring Dreezy, Audio Push, Father and Rae Sremmurd.
