Fabolous Feat. Chris Brown "She Wildin'" Video
Fabolous Feat. Chris Brown
While we may have to wait a couple more weeks for The Young OG Project 2, Fabolous decides to hold us over today by revisiting the first installment and sharing a new video for his Chris Brown-featured cut “She Wildin.” Watch as the two artists take over a house party and show off their dab moves in this Gerald Victor-directed clip above. It serves as the follows up to Fabo’s latest mixtape Summertime Shootout, and Breezy’s Royalty album.
Fabolous "The Plug" Video
Fabolous recently made a trip down to Medellin, Colombia to pay tribute to his hero Pablo Escobar and returned the America born anew as Fablo Freshcobar. While he was down there soaking in Escobar's aura, he shot a video for "The Plug" off his just-dropped mixtape Summertime Shootout.
Fabolous Names His Top 5 New York Rappers
A couple of days ago, Billboard had Big Sean list his top 5 West Coast MC's of all time. Now the publication has given a more relevant category to Fabolous, asking the Brooklyn rapper to name the top 5 New York rappers to do ever do it. He rattles off the first three -- Biggie, Jay Z, and Nas -- in about a second, and then pauses before naming each of the remaining two, Big Daddy Kane and Rakim.
Fabolous Feat. Rich Homie Quan "We Good" Video
Fabolous Feat. Rich Homie Quan
Fabolous' videos "Gone for the Winter" and "You Made Me" off last year's The Young OG Project have been rather cinematic. His latest TYOGP video is his most cinematic yet.
Fabolous Feat. Velous "Gone For The Winter" Video
Fabolous Feat. Velous
Despite its title, Fabolous' The Young OG Project made use of a ton of samples and interpolations of '90s rap hits. One such perpetrator of this is "Gone For The Winter," a Velous featuring cut that borrows from Nas' "Represent" (or, more accurately, Lee Erwin's "Thief Of Baghdad," but we doubt Loso scours film soundtracks from the '20s to find samples). Today, it gets a video.
Fabolous "Awwright" Video
Although it's been less than a month since Fabolous compiled all of his Friday Night Freestyles into a mixtape of the same name, he returns this Friday afternoon with another new freestyle and visual to match. For his latest stab at another man's beat, Loso takes on Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" instrumental (the original song has been chosen as Kendrick's next single off TPAB).
Fabolous Recaps Summer Jam 2015 Experience
Over this past weekend, Fabolous performed at Hot 97’s Summer Jam Festival, where he decided to put on for his city and have a “concert within a concert” during his set. Paying homage to some classic cuts from the ’90s, Fab decided to bring out special guests Black Rob, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Method Man, Redman, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Lil’ Kim, The LOX, and Ma$e to help belt out their classic hits.
Fabolous Feat. Tish Hyman "You Made Me" Video
Fabolous Feat. Tish Hyman
Fabolous' new video for "You Made Me" kicks off with a Christopher Lloyd lookalike counseling him, and then goes into a full-blown "Back To The Future" concept, complete with a Delorean. In Loso's past, it looks like his girl left him for Cipha Sounds, who appears throughout the video, and that he got turned down my a few people while trying to promote his music.
Fabolous Remembers His First DJ Clue Freestyle
Fabolous recently sat down with MTV News’ Rob Markman to discuss the origin of his name and to talk about the first time he freestyled for DJ Clue. During the 3-minute chat, Fab reminisced on the time he had a meeting with DJ Clue at the Hot 97 studios, where he thought he was just going to chop it up and spit a freestyle for him, but instead was thrown straight on the air and asked to freestyle live with Noreaga.
Fabolous Feat. French Montana "Ball Drop" Video
Fabolous Feat. French Montana
Fabolous hit us with the Young OG Project on Christmas day, so of course, New Year's Eve was just around the corner. "Ball Drop," one of the highlights for the album, seemed to be written just for the event, but we're only getting the visual for the track now. Naturally, Fab and French Montana take to Times Square in the clip for the party record rockin' fur and stuntin' in front of a disco ball like it's 1999.
Jordan Bratton Feat. Fabolous "Danger" Video
Jordan Bratton Feat. Fabolous
Late last year, Jordan Bratton recruited Fabolous for a feature on his buzzing single “Danger”, and now the duo are teaming up for a new music video for it. Directed by Harrison Boyce, Jordan calls on some rebels with ski-masks and hits an abandonded warehouse with Fabo to present us this dark and abstract visual. Its in support of his latest mixtape, The Grey Area Project. Look for a follow up from Jordan to arrive later this year.
Fabolous Shows Us How To Cook Up A "Lituation"
Fabolous is the latest guest on noisey's Rap PSA web series, in which he tells us how to turn an ordinary situation into a "Lituation." The three basic ingredients: money, women, liquor. And if that ain't enough, you can throw some drugs in the mix. Not rocket science here. But without proper training, as Fab explains, you might bypass the lituation and exit the club in a wheelchair. Think you're ready to get your situation lit? Just in case, you might as well watch this Rap PSA before hitting the club tonight.
Fabolous At The Roc Nation Throne Boxing Event (Vlog)
As Jay Z continues to conquer all aspects of life, Roc Nation Sports hosted their first annual Throne Boxing Event in Madison Square Gardens on January 9th. The event saw celebrities come out in flocks, including many Roc Nation-managed artists, such as Fabolous and Rihanna. Loso was stunting in his fur outfit with a Pharrell-like hat, and captured the night for those of us who weren't able to attend.
Fabolous On Hot 97
On Christmas day, the day his new album came out, Fabolous hit up Hot 97 for an interview with Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez. Of course, much of the interview was centered on discussion of '90s hip-hop, which as Loso has said many times was the key source of inspiration for The Young OG Project. In addition to discussing the album, Fabolous also talks about new headphone lines popping up every day, and how inflated the price is for your average pair.
Fabolous Speaks On "The Young OG Project"
Fabolous recently reeled off his top five reasons of why he loves the '90s, although we're sure there are plenty more than just five. In addition to doing a list for HNHH, Loso also sat down to speak more closely on the project that inspired our list: The Young OG Project.
Fabolous "I Don't Fuck With Christmas" Video
Fabolous has proved he can write a diss track about pretty much anything, actually holding a contest in which he took a fans' story and turned it into an ether. His latest target is Christmas and anybody who love it, going at Prancer, Vixen, and the rest of the gang for Funny Or Die. At one point he threatens to beat Santa Claus, and just when you thought he was finished hating, Fab ensured no one was safe when he went at the hard-working employees at Santa's workshop -- "Elves go fuck yourselves, I don’t like ya’ll neither."
Fabolous Freestyles On Sway In The Morning
It's been a while since we've gotten a new freestyle from noted lyrical superhero Fabolous, so rejoice in the fact that he visited Sway In The Morning for that exact purpose this morning.
Fabolous Shares His 5 Reasons Why He Loves '90s Hip-Hop
While we anticipate Fabolous '90s-inspired album The Young OG Project, which the rapper says will contain plenty of samples and flips that harken back to hip-hop's Golden Age, we chopped it up with Loso at the Def Jam offices. In addition to sitting down for an interview (coming next week), the rapper listed some of the reasons why he loves '90s hip-hop so much. From the diversity, to the posse joints, to the many crews, Fabolous definitely brings us back with this list, perfect for the internet-mandated Throwback Thursday.
Fabolous On The Breakfast Club
Fabolous is making the interview rounds, as he readies his fans for his upcoming album, The Young OG Project, which is due out on December 25th. The rapper discusses how the Christmas day, '90s-inspired release came together, and he also speaks on his rap career and having longevity in the game. He touches on the drama going on between Lil Wayne and Birdman, tying this into his own business conflicts, and if he's ever had any.
Fabolous "Lituation" Video
Fabolous' life is so upscale that his current situation's a "Lituation." That's what he came out of the gate saying on his new single of the same name, released last week, and today the Young OG Project cut gets a video of its own.
