"It was more like a habit or a hobby, until I found out that I could actually get paid for what I like to do," stated Ms. White. The origins of her name derived from a club she was spinning at. The name of the club was not mentioned due to the faulty wiring that ignited a fire in the dj's booth while Ms. White was spinning. The audience had no idea that this wasn't part of the night's events. Earning Ms. White the name DJ Firestarta. Today, DJ Firestarta, is the co-owner of Foxxy Fire Entertainment, hosts a series of mixtapes, and is an on-air radio personality at Alabama Hott Radio (www.alabamahottradio.com).
