Like a modern day version of Nas & Lauryn Hill's "If I Ruled The World," MMG's Fat Trel poses a question to himself and the rest of his hood in the new video for "What Would You Do? (WWYD)." Filmed in the grittiness of his own neighborhood, the DC spitter ponders how we would deal with absolute power. Would the violence increase or decrease?

Fat Trel has dropped off two new mixtapes in the past month, one with ManeMane called Finess Gang, and the other by himself called Muva Russia. Instead of promoting either of them though, the DMV native decides to take it all the way back to this summer’s Georgetown tape and share the official video for his KE On The Track-produced banger “Calling All Workers.”

Fat Trel's MMG debut is still nowhere in sight, but it hasn't stopped him from releasing a tone of music in the meantime. His most recent project, Georgetown, arrived in June, and Trel has shared the video for one of its grittiest tracks today. Teaming with YOWDA an P-Wild, the DC Rapper takes his street rap to a bright trap beat, littered with high hats, but built off of a melancholic piano line.

After they both made guest verses on Tracy T's "That's Me" a few months ago, Fat Trel & Mane Mane link up on "Money Calling," in which they let us know that they're palms are itching to hold some money over a low-key, jazzy instrumental.

Revisiting his latest Georgetown project, Fat Trel decides to come through today and share the official video for his Troy Ave-featured cut “Funky Style.” With the whole neighborhood out, Fat Trel takes over the block and shoots this street-portrayed visual above. Nothing we haven’t seen before visually, but it’ll do justice for the fans. Check it out.

Before Fat Trel dropped his recent tape Georgetown, he embarked on a freestyle series that had him going in over recent hits by Beyoncé, Kanye West, Fetty Wap, Nicki Minaj and Drake. Arguably the best of these came on Drizzy's "Energy" instrumental, and now the Washington D.C. native has opted to shoot a video for it.

Maybach Music-signee Fat Trel just dropped the visuals for Chop Squad DJ-produced "Young Niggaz." In the video, directed by Lucas Saulsbury, Trel drives his white Benz and raps about the gangster lifestyle in a variety of locations, including under a freeway overpass, at the strip club, and in front of Wale's tour bus. Having appeared on his recent song "Loyalty," Trel appears to have a budding partnership with Wale.

Alongside some tracks that had him hearkening back to his Mixtape About Nothing days on the recent Festivus tape, Wale's "Loyalty" was the project's street anthem. Calling upon fellow DC residents Fat Trel and Dew Baby, Folarin made an auto-tuned banger that sounds a lot more like a typical MMG joint than most of his stuff.

Fat Trel and Tracy T were the most recent additions to the MMG team, and they've each been releasing a solid stream of music since the announcement. They've each given us a new song over the last two days, but now they'e given us a new video for their collaboration, "What We're Doing". Despite hailing from different cities, the two rapper are very compatible, and with the amount of back-and-forth we've seen between Atlanta and DC, it certainly makes sense.

While MMG's other DC based artist prepares the release of his latest album, Album About Nothing, Fat Trel, another DC representative from the MMG camp is working on his next release, Georgetown. In the meantime, here's a track off his last project.

Wale is currently in the middle of his "Simply Nothin" tour, on which he is assisted by recent MMG signee Fat Trel. At the NYC date, which went down last night, Trel joined Wale on stage for a couple of songs, before a special guest from the area made his way on stage. A$AP Ferg stormed the performance, bringing his hug 2013 singles, "Shabba" and "Work (Remix)" (which still get as big a reaction as ever). Both Wale and Ferg have new projects planned, hopefully we'll see the two get together on a track sooner rather than later.

Fat Trel returns to HNHH with the visual for his latest single "Walkin Thru My Hood." On October 14,Boogz Boogetz will release a new project entitled C.O.O.L. 2. Today, we get the first track from the upcoming project in the form of a video. "Live" features DMV Maybach Music Group signee Fat Trel. A little trappier than the average Boogetz track, "Live" is based around the asseriton that "real niggas don't die," which seems to be based on the observation that "all [Boogz and Fat Trel's] niggas live." That's "live" as in, "that party was live," not as in, "live and let die."

Fat Trel may have stirred up a lot of controversy with his Gleesh mixtape cover, but he's not letting that deter him (and really, why would it). He returns today with a new freestyle over Soulja Boy's ever-popular "We Made It" instrumental turning it into "Gleesh Made It." This cut doesn't appear on the Gleesh mixtape which you can download here if you missed it.

After hitting us with his Gleesh mixtape at the beginning of the month, MMG’s own Fat Trel returns today with a new visual off it with “Rich As Fuck”. The visual captures clips from Trel’s past performances, as well as his time in the booth working on the track. Nothing too special, but a worthy addition to his recent releases. Check it out above, and let us know what ya think of it!
