Eryx, is a 21 year old New York tri-state area singer, songwriter, and producer. Born in northern New Jersey, Eryx soon moved to the Hudson Valley where he began engaging in music at an early age. By the age of 14 he had formed a band in which he sang and played electric guitar. The group performed original songs composed by Eryx and spent nearly a year recording and performing, having appeared at venues such as the Bloomfield Avenue Café (a popular northern NJ venue). Throughout that time period Eryx, who had been rapping and free-styling since he was 12, maintained a strong interest in hip-hop. After moving to upstate New York to attend school, Eryx found the balance of time and focus he needed to truly immerse himself in songwriting and music production. Having rediscovered his love of hip-hop and electronic music, Eryx decided to focus entirely on this genre. His initial demos were impressive and early in 2010, he was signed by CC Media Network. With his popularity growing among the hip-hop and college party scene, Eryx continues to create and will be releasing a mixtape titled, "Down to Brass Tacks." available late 2012 on Reverbnation and Datpiff.
