Ellsworth

Back to Player

South Jersey Native! Ellsworth has been expressing his love for Hip Hop for over 10 years. His effortless flow and authority in his voice takes you back to the days of the Great Notorious BIG in the early 90s. Ellsworth grew up in the projects being raised by his 15 year old mother. Moving from state to state, robbing & stealing from people, just to live and helping his mother keep her head above water became his life. Until at the age of 13 he was forced to leave the state; which led to him living on the streets alone. WHAT CHANGED IT ALL? Listening to LL Cool J-BAD album, Eric Sermon & Run DMC. Ellsworth started incorporating his passion for Hip Hop and the soul of Sade and Teena Marie to make his own style. Rhymin’ and focusing on his craft became his outlet. Everything he’s been through, the experiences he has witnessed at a young age, and having the chance to overcome multiple obstacles that tried to make him another statistic, is blueprinted in music. You can hear it in his voice. The stage became his home. In 2002, Ellsworth was offered a distribution deal from Columbia records. Unfortunately, it fell through due to some unforeseen occurrences. It took some time to get back on his feet. However, he is back in full effect! He has been blessed with various connections to get him back to sharing his adulation for music and being able to tell his story. He has performed up and down the East Coast, North Carolina, Baltimore, Delaware, New Jersey, & New York. Ellsworth has also been featured on WWSMAG.COM. Ellsworth hasn’t even begun to scratch the surface of what he is destined to accomplish in the music industry. He has a voice and a real life story that needs to be told. He may have lost some but this time he is Playin’ Fo Keeps!
