ELLIS was born raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Having a strong passion for music early on, ELLIS knew being an emcee was his destiny. In 2008, after years of neglecting his talent, ELLIS came together with his long time friend and Producing partner Legin to pursue a music career and create his own label BMC (BMoreCareful). ELLIS released his demo ELLIS & Legin Presents: The ESSENCE in 2009 and followed up in 2010 with the BLURAY E. LP; his first official project composed of 16 original tracks that show and prove who ELLIS is destined to be as an artist. Sonicbids took notice, naming ELLIS as one of the TOP 5 up and coming MC’s of 2011. While he patiently waits for the masses to take notice, he’s prepping his upcoming album THE EDUCATION OF ELLIS that is due for release in 2012 and will be exclusively produced by Legin along with a guest appearance from Styles P. In the meantime his latest Mixtape: BMC2K12 THE END GAME has created some well-deserved buzz for the Charm City Sensei; ELLIS will soon be a household name.
