As soon as it was announced that Drake would be partaking in hosting duties for Saturday night's OVO Sound Radio, it was clear something big was coming. While he didn't deliver the album on the spot, he did announce the release date as April 29th, giving fans a real something specific to look forward to. Along with the news, Drizzy shared a trailer for the LP on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, featuring a voice over provided by the rapper himself, as we see some familiar footage from throughout his career, naturally, never sparing himself from any of his more embarrassing moments.

Taylor Swift
Apple has tapped Taylor Swift to star in their new commercial promoting Apple Music, a choice candidate to bridge the gap between pop/country-loving fans and hip-hop-loving fans, as T-Swift chooses a rap song to get her hype for her cardio work out. Apparently, a little too hype. Taylor Swift finds a #gymflow playlist, and clicks on Drake & Future's stand-out WATTBA cut, "Jumpman." With the opening "If young Metro..." tag, Taylor quickly starts rapping along, hand movements and all, before getting so into it she loses her footing and falls off the treadmill.

Drake’s love for his Toronto Raptors runs deep, and it appears he’s willing to pull out all the stops when it comes to winning. On Monday night, while the Raptors hosted the Chicago Bulls, Drizzy was sitting courtside when he decided to cause new Bulls guard Justin Holiday to slip up and get a 5-second call against the Bulls in a very crucial part in the 4th quarter.

Lil Mama got herself a viral hit with last summer's "Sausage," thanks in large part to the video. After dropping a video to her remix of a classic Biggie track last month, the Brooklyn rapper is back today with a remix of Rihanna and Drake's "Work," which currently sits atop the Hot 100. And, of course, she's got a video to boot. The release strategy is clearly working.

We've been hearing rumors of the "Work" video before the song was even released, and today, it's finally arrived. As it's been proven that the song works best on repeat, Rihanna has decided to drop not one but TWO videos for the very danceable record, the first filmed at "The Real Jerk" in Toronto, while the second finds her and Drizzy alone in a room, working off of one another's energy. It's pretty much everything we wanted from it, and should give the song an even stronger push up the charts. What do you think of the new clip?

Here's Drake Receiving Toronto's Key To The City
Drake
While he may be on a campaign to rename it, Drake has never stopped representing Toronto, and his hosting gig at the city's very first All-Star Weekend affirms that. With that being said, it seems a great time to honor Drizzy for his duties as the unofficial global ambassador of the 6, so Fruiday night, before the parties erupted, the rapper was awarded the key to the city.

T-Mobile is stepping up their promo game, enlisting Drake and his "Hotline Bling" dance moves for their Super Bowl commercial. You knew a cellphone provider was going to capitalize on this record sooner than later. In the ad, Drake is seen busting his moves in a yellow-lit box for the "Hotline Bling" video, before some T-Mobile executives cut him off with a few simple changes to the lyrics, in order to plug their company. "I love changes," Drake says sarcastically, "These changes don't ruin the song at all."

Majid Jordan are finally stepping into the limelight, well at least, physically. The duo have been releasing music to a growing fanbase, under the OVO imprint since 2014, but they've been press-shy. We haven't seen their faces all too often, but in promotion for their self-titled album (out on February 5th), Majid Jordan have paid a visit to Hot 97's morning show. This is probably the most in-depth and personal interviews we've received from the two thus far.
