Drake shook up the internet as per usual when his track "Wu-Tang Forever" leaked. The record, which you'll receive with the pre-order of Nothing Was The Same, is produced by Noah '40' Shebib and samples Wu's "It's Yourz." A lot of comments in regards to the track have been mixed with confusion as well as hate, perhaps because Wu-Tang isn't the point of discussion in the record-- it's a Drizzy song straight up, as he discusses his girls and artistry.

Outside of Kendrick Lamar's infamous "Control" verse, we're in the no-names era of rap disses. While rappers sub-tweeting each other in their verses can be interestingly cryptic, it's often led to listeners creating beef that doesn't exist.

If you haven't heard Jay Electronica's new song over Soulja Boy's "We Made It" track, drop everything and give the play button a twirl. It's that good. However, if you have heard it you probably noticed a bar in Jay Z's verse that seemed to address the OVO meister, Drizzy Drake of Toronto.

On 2009's "Successful," a young Drake rapped, "Diss me, you’ll never hear a reply for it," creating somewhat of a mission statement for his career from there on out. In a way, those words were accurate, as Drizzy rarely (if ever) calls out anyone by name in his music, but more accurately, he's become known as the king of the sneak diss, the sultan of the subliminal shot.

When Drake released his newest mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, a few days ago, it took the internet by storm. Falling in line with Jay Z, Kanye and Beyoncé before him, he dropped it almost completely out of the blue, with no real warning. The internet went into a frenzy over the release, and a large portion of the response was relating to the question, "is this an album or a mixtape?"

Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams founded Cash Money Records over twenty years ago. New Orleans rap collective the Hot Boys were one of Cash Money's earliest successes, which has since turned into perhaps the flashiest label of them all. In 2005, former Hot Boy Lil Wayne created his own CMR imprint, Young Money Entertainment. Young Money released their debut album We Are Young Money in 2009, which featured hits like "We Be Steady Mobbin" and "Bed Rock". Following the album's release, solo careers of Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Drake took off.
