Meek Mill Goes Off On Fan For Holding Up Drake Sign During His Show Sep 8, 2015 at 12:08am
Just when you thought the Meek Mill x Drake saga had finally fizzled out, one instigating fan quickly brings it back to life. On Monday night, Meek headlined the Fools Gold Festival in Brooklyn, where one ballsy fan decided to throw up a Drake sign during his set, and quickly grab the attention of Meek and his camp. Aside from just calling the fan out, Meek decided to send a “shooter” from his entourage to stand right next to him and make him feel the pressure.

As usual, it was chock-full of exclusives, including a Drake remix of The Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends" and a PARTYNEXDOOR-assisted record from Amir Obe.You've probably already heard those records, but there's still plenty of worthwhile music on the rest of the mix, with Oliver kicking things off with the universally-approved Bieber single, "What Do You Mean?," before running through some Travi$ Scott, Toronto's Jazz Cartier, and more.

The Weeknd has been having a strong year, building his already strong fanbase into something bigger with his ventures into bright, pop-leaning territory. "I Can't Feel My Face" is currently the #1 song in the country, and that's far from his only contribution to the current charts.

When you think of club-ready hip hop music that was bumpin' from 2000-2010, Swizz Beatz is one of the elite names that should come to mind. The Bronx producer-DJ-rapper-fashionista-artist can virtually do anything under the sun, but he was at his most potent through the aforementioned years when he was producing rap bangers for the likes of Jay Z, T.I., DMX, and many more.

The Weeknd skyrocketed to fame after working on Take Care, and PARTYNEXTDOOR seems to be blowing up ever since he started making music with Drizzy.

Drake's Team Says Apple Didn't Interfere With Lil Weezyana Stream, Calls It A "Publicity Stunt" Aug 29, 2015 at 04:21pm
While Tidal spun their lack of access to the Drake portion of Lil Weezyana fest as interference from Apple, Drizzy's team tells a different story. Future The Prince, who has served as both Drake's DJ and management at different points in his career, has revealed that the reason the stream cut out was a business decision from OVO's side, and had nothing to do with apple.

He started off with a couple of artists from the Young Money roster (Cory Gunz and Shanell), before reuniting the Sqad Up crew (Kidd Kidd, Gudda Gudda, etc.). Apple Blocked Tidal From Streaming Drake's Performance At Lil Weezyana Fest Aug 29, 2015 at 10:19am
Rumor had it that Apple had threatened Tidal with a $20 million lawsuit if Drake's performance at Lil Weezyana Fest was broadcasted yesterday, and when the rapper's appearance was cut from the stream, the threat seemed to be confirmed. As soon as Drizzy came through to perform "Back To Back," among other songs, the screen went black and the following message appeared: Apple is interfering with artistry and will not allow this artist to stream. Sorry for Big Brother’s inconvenience. We'll be back after the performance.

Common Weighs In On Drake & Serena Hooking Up Aug 27, 2015 at 01:35pm
Back when the Common-Drake beef was happening, it was rumored that tennis player Serena Williams played a part-- she was coupled up with Common before the two parted ways, and then she reportedly linked up with Drizzy. Common later admitted that Serena was indeed the fueling factor, saying, "So unfortunately the war might have been over a girl, but at the time I never said that."

A Church In Toronto Put Up A Drake-Inspired Billboard Aug 26, 2015 at 04:55pm
Drake was already seen as something of a religious figure in his city even before he introduced the "6 God" pseudonym, but now he's officially been acknowledged by a local church. In what can only be described as an attempt to appeal to youth, C3 Church Toronto has put up a Billboard that references Drake's new name for the city, reading; "For God So Loved The 6". They then get straight to the point in the fine print -- "God's love might be hard to understand, but you can certainly experience it."

5 Artists Aaliyah Influenced Aug 26, 2015 at 01:56pm
Although she passed away fourteen years ago at the all-too-young age of 22, Aaliyah still fervently burns like an R&B sun, atop the solar system of artists that she fuels and influences posthumously. Despite her age, her career lasted nearly a decade. Her sex appeal, style, and squad of collaborators, who are also mega-stars in their own right created the perfect storm to set pop music on a course that is still traveled by some of music’s best and brightest to this day.

The tidal wave of Drake that has washed over the Top 10 is finally, thankfully receding. Much like low tide, a lingering stench of Drizzy still remains, but at least there are no more songs in the Top 10 twice. Let’s get to it. 10) MPA Duke ft. Travi$ Scott - On My Vibe
Drake & Serena Williams Rekindle The Flame?
Drake & Serena Williams Rekindle The Flame? Aug 24, 2015 at 12:34pm
"My Way" may have been the Fetty Wap song Drake chose to bless with a guest verse earlier this year, but it might have more accurate if he had chosen "Again." He was just spotted making out with tennis star Serena Williams in a Cincinnati restaurant, and if you'll recall from his beef with Common a few years back, this wasn't his first encounter with her.

OVO Radio was back for another installment Saturday evening, and this time it was Jordan Ullman, one half of OVO duo Majid Jordan, who took the hot seat. The show started with a lengthy set from OVO's resident tastemaker, Oliver El-Khatib, which featured music from ASAP Rocky, Ginuwine, Jai Paul, and an exclusive from Reekz & Section Boyz. Halfway through, Drake called in (using the heavy Scarborough accent we heard in his Jungle short film), explaining he's in the "cave" working on his album.
