5 Things We Want From The Weeknd's "Beauty Behind The Madness"
It'll be almost exactly two years since the release of Kiss Land when The Weeknd's second proper studio album, Beauty Behind The Madness, hits stores, and much has changed in the world of Abel Tesfaye. A collaboration with Ariana Grande, and the Michael Jackson-channeling "I Can't Feel My Face" have found the singer approaching traditional pop songwriting with the help of Max Martin, and proved him capable of playing the charismatic frontman role as well as the disconnected R&B outsider he introduced himself as.

The Streaming "Game Of Thrones": Drake & Apple Music Vs. Jay-Z & TIDAL
It all seemed like fantastic, luxurious, one-percent-y fun and games during the initial TIDAL press conference. Music mogul Sean “Jay-Z” Carter’s launched his rebranding of the year-old streaming service he had recently acquired by strutting out stars of meteoric magnitude, both young and old, shuffled out like battling champions in a proverbial game of thrones. Like a "Song of Ice and Fire," the words burned like an effigy as the music industry (critics, artists, and fans alike) were urged to brace themselves for something new.

Another notable debut was Tyga's Gold Album, though it actually failed to crack the Billboard 200. Charts Don't Lie: June 27
While next week should be more exciting, the last round of rap sales were pretty lacklustre. With ASAP Rocky's album dropping to number 12, it's the first week in some time with no hip hop or R&B in the top ten. The LPs we've seen selling all year are still hanging in, with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Kendrick Lamar all continuing to sell. Meanwhile, J. Cole has jumped up a few spots, showing that his LP, though released last year, still has some life left in it.Check out the full breakdown below.

Travis Scott Blasts Air Canada, Suggests Drake Should Buy It
There aren't a lot of things to hate on Canada for. The home of great healthcare coverage, genuinely friendly people, and Drake generally has a pretty good reputation, but as polite as its residents may be, anyone who lives there will tell you that Air Canada totally sucks.
Sprite Is Putting Lyrics From Nas, Biggie, Drake & Rakim On Their Cans
Sprite has always had a connection to rap music. As an advertiser, they were one of the first brands to promote their product with the assistance of rappers, and to specifically target an urban audience in so doing. Not only that, but when most brands did try to incorporate rappers into their ad campaigns they went the mainstream, pop-friendly route, whereas Sprite tapped more credible, "real" hip-hop artists such as Curtis Blow and Heavy D. Thus it may come as no surprise that they're digging into their hip-hop roots once more with their latest ad campaign, "Obey Your Verse."
