Drake Billboard In Toronto Signals "Views From The 6" Is Coming Soon
Drake's third album of 2015 -- and his most anticipated, as both IYRTITL and WATTBA were surprise releases -- appears to be around the corner. The 6 God prayer hands have recently adorned a black billboard in Toronto, which reads, "The 6 is watching." Drake posted a snapshot of the billboard on Instagram, and wrote, "be home soon," implying that Views from the 6, his fourth solo album, dedicated to his hometown, will be hitting the Toronto streets in the near future.
Charts Don't Lie: November 4
This week wasn't all that exciting for debuts, as the biggest new album came from DJ Khaled, and didn't manage to crack the top 10. This week we did see a lot of albums continue to hold on to high chart positions with The Weeknd, Fetty Wap, and Drake and Future's project all proving they have some longevity on the charts. Bryson Tiller is also hanging on with his debut, while Game's two albums have slipped considerably.Check out the breakdown below.
Meek Mill Was Asked About Drake On Live TV
Meek Mill can't even go to a basketball game without being reminded of his beef with Drake. Meek was in attendance at last night's Sixers face-off with the Cavs, and naturally, an NBC reporter found him in the crowd to get a couple comments about the team -- though he probably wasn't expecting to get into the hard questions. It's unclear if the reporter was well-aware of how uncomfortable bringing up Drake might make Meek -- perhaps she was just trying to ask a light-hearted question about a fellow rapper unbeknownst to the drama that went down a few months back.
Drake, Kanye West, Tyga & Justin Bieber Attend Kendall Jenner's Birthday In L.A.
20th birthdays can get pretty crazy, but Kendall Jenner's L.A. party last night was something else. The guest list on this one was next-level, as Drake, Kanye West, Miguel, Justin Bieber, and of course Kanye West and Tyga made it out, and the paparazzi acted accordingly. Some footage of the chaos outside the venue has made its way online, which you can check out below.Other notable guests at the event were Jaden and Willow Smith, Tyler, The Creator (joined by Jasper and Taco), Rae Sremmurd, and Mike WiLL Made-It.
DJ Drama's Ex-Wife Says He Gave Drake's Reference Tracks To Meek Mill
Just when you thought the Meek Mill x Drake saga had finally fizzled out, it resurfaces back up on us. On Monday afternoon, ATL producer DJ Drama got into an altercation on twitter with his ex-wife Summer P Walker, when she decided to drop a bomb about the Drake reference tracks that were leaked for Meek Mill over the Summer.

Is Lil Wayne Planning "No Ceilings 2"?
Two days ago, Lil Wayne set the Internet ablaze with a 7 second recording of him rapping over Drake's "Back to Back." Obviously a remix is in the works -- hopefully on the way soon -- but the snippet could be a preview of an even bigger release: a sequel to his 2009 mixtape No Ceilings.
Justin Bieber Remixes "Hotline Bling"
We've grown exhausted by the endless array of "Hotline Bling" remixes. After Erykah Badu's inventive spin on Drake's song that won't seem to budge from No. 2, we said no more. But now Bieber? Alright fine.
Lil Wayne Teases Remix To Drake’s “Back To Back”
It looks like Lil Wayne is prepping up some new material for us. In a recent Snapchat recorded by Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo, Weezy was spotted in the studio recording a remix to his labelmate Drake’s hit record “Back To Back." Only 7 seconds long, the clip, which was quickly uploaded to Youtube, finds Tune in the booth spittin’ over Drizzy’s infectious Meek diss. He briefly raps “… in a glass jar/ Then drop it off to your kids classroom/ dirt bags who belong in vacuum.” Don't ask what that means though.
Erykah Badu To Release New Mixtape Next Week
Erkyah Badu came out of the woodwork recently, after being inspired by Drake, to release her own rendition of "Hotline Bling." The song was released with the promise of a forthcoming mixtape, You Caint Use My Phone. Almost a complete month later, and Ms. Badu promises that the mixtape is arriving very soon, like, next week.
Everything You Need To Know About Kodak Black
Kodak Black is the best high-school rapper in the country. The 18-year-old from Pompano Beach, Florida also happens to be one of a few young artists on Drake's radar. As Earl Sweatshirt warned upon hearing of Drake's discovery of Florida's best kept secret, let's not give too much credit to the 6 God's discerning ears, as Kodak has already built a movement solely off his own credentials, with over 50 songs and/or videos with 6-digit hits on YouTube.
Drake's "Hotline Bling" Misses The Number One Spot On The Hot 100
After the endless outpouring of memes following Drake's "Hotline Bling" video, it seemed certain that Drake would finally have his first number single on the Hot 100. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as Billboard has announced that The Weeknd's "The Hills" will take the top spot once again.
Jas Prince Settles With Cash Money Over Drake Royalties
Earlier this month, it was reported that Jas Prince, the son of Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince, and the man who introduced Drake to Lil Wayne, was demanding that Cash Money Records pay him $11 million in royalties earned off the "Hotline Bling" star.
Birdman Wishes Drake Happy Birthday
Yesterday (Oct. 24) was Drake's birthday, and he was spotted partying in Vegas with Big Sean and rising Chicago rapper 600Breezy. He also happened to receive a birthday wish from one of his early career mentors, Birdman, with whom his relationship has perhaps since soured.
Earl Sweatshirt Responds To Drake's Kodak Black Cosign
Yesterday we reported on an Instagram clip of Drake dancing to Kodak Black's "SKRT." Drake had also played the song during episode 6 of OVO Sound Radio, the occasion on which he dropped What a Time to Be Alive. Of course, a cosign from a superstar like Drake can lead to obvious gains in the short-term.
Metro Boomin On The Sound Drake & Future Created For "WATTBA": "It's Their Own World"
What A Time To Be Alive is billed as a Drake and Future album, but it could just as easily be credited to Drake, Future and Metro Boomin. The Atlanta producer executive-produced the project, as well as providing 7 of its 11 instrumentals, largely shaping the overall sound of the project. As Complex points out, Metro talked a bit about the genesis of WATTBA on Rap Radar's latest podcast.
Drake Dances To Kodak Black On Instagram
Drake is fairly generous when it comes to cosigns. The result of the Drizzy stamp of approval can be an OVO record deal, a remix, or, in the case of the Sauce Twinz, absolutely nothing. The latest young artist Drake has been bumping is 18-year-old Kodak Black from Pompano Beach, Florida. And for good reason -- the kid's got insane talent. The 6 God just posted a video of himself jamming out to Kodak's "SKRT" on his private plane.
Meek Mill's Instagram Has Been Flooded With Drake Birthday Wishes
If you've been on social media today, you may have been alerted to the fact that it's Drake's 29th birthday. If you're Meek Mill, there's absolutely no way you missed it. Fan hives tend to go to war in the Instagram comments of rival artists, and Drake's stanbase has been hard at work on their favorite rapper's bday, flooding Meek Mill's comment section with birthday wishes. It's been going on all day, but things have only ramped up since news broke that Meek had some comments for the 6 God last night.
Meek Mill Takes Shots At Drake During Powerhouse Philly
Meek Mill was fairly quiet after taking what most have deemed an L from Drake, but over the last few days he's started speaking out once again, referencing What A Time To Be Alive on Instagram, getting involved in an Instagram beef with Wale, and -- as of last night -- dissing Drake on stage.
Is Meek Mill Making A "Back To Back" Remix?
A clip obtained by the Shade Room clearly depicts Meek Mill throwing down bars over the Noah "40" Shebib-produced "Back to Back" instrumental. Although his intentions are unclear, it's unlikely that he was just casually freestyling over a diss track directly at him. Is a "Back to Back " remix in the works? Would it be a rebuttal diss track, or simply a straightforward remix?
