Diddy Makes An Appearance At Drake's Summer Sixteen Tour In North Carolina
Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” tour has had no shortage of special guest appearances, from Kanye West to Derrick Rose. The Boy can even pull high profile guest appearances when they aren’t going backstage. Such was the case last night in North Carolina.
Jordan Brand Postpones The "OVO" Air Jordan 12 Release
Drake's all-white sting ray laden "OVO" Air Jordan 12s will be releasing; that much is true. When they'll be releasing is anyone's guess at this point though. The OVO Js were originally rumored to drop this Summer, with some suggesting a late July, early August release date but now we're approaching the end of the Summer and the shoes are no where to be found.
Peter Rosenberg Is Heated After Drake Disses Meek Mill In Philly
HOT 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg was infuriated upon learning that Drake used his "Summer Sixteen" show in Philly as a means of reigniting his beef with Meek Mill.
Meek Mill Accuses Drake Of Enlisting Police To Exit Philly Show Last Night
Last night, Drake's "Summer Sixteen" tour came through Philly, and he used the show to reinvigorate his beef with the city's biggest rapper, Meek Mill. He performed an especially fired-up rendition of his "Back to Back" diss track, and addressed Meek directly afterwards: "It's not about your city. I love your city. You did that shit to your motherfuckin' self, boy." He also switched up the lyrics on "Still Here" in order to try to pit Meek's hometown against him, rapping, "You not really from Philly and they can tell, n*gga."

Last week was a funny one for album delays. On one hand, Frank Ocean delivered not only his first, but also his second album since 2012's Channel Orange, but on the other, we didn't get the projects that we'd been expecting from French Montana, Young Thug, and Travis Scott.
Drake Takes Multiple Shots At Meek Mill At Philly "Summer Sixteen" Show
From the moment the "Summer Sixteen" tour dates were unveiled, Drake had tonight's show marked on his calendar. Tonight was the first time Drake performed in Philly since he entered into a beef with the city's biggest rapper, Meek Mill. On Friday night (Aug.
Drake Calls Meek Mill A "P*ssy" During "Summer Sixteen" Show
Tonight's been all about Frank Ocean and the surprise arrival of his new album, Blonde. Unsurprisingly, though, Drake has managed to sneak in and grab a headline with another on-stage stunt at a recent Summer Sixteen show. While performing "Back to Back," the diss track with which he took over last summer's beef with Meek Mill, he switched up a few lyrics in order to call the MMG rapper a pussy. "I did another one, I did another one," he raps, "That pussy still ain't did shit about the other one." Watch him deliver the incendiary lyrics in the below video.
Drake's "VIEWS" Certified Triple Platinum
More Ws for Drizzy. Considering the almost unholy amount of time that Drake held down the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, it's perhaps unsurprising that the album is already certified triple platinum, but even so, that's impressive. It feels like just yesterday the album went double platinum (it was two months ago). He achieved triple platinum in the span of four months, basically. This could be a decade-long quest for some artists.
Drake Leads BET Hip Hop Awards 2016 Nominations
As the fall approaches, that means the BET Hip Hop Awards are approaching as well. BET has unveiled the nominations for the 2016 Hip Hop Awards today, and Drake is leading the pack for the third year in a row. Geez. The BET Hip Hop Awards will be filmed in Atlanta on September 17th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and they'll air on October 4th at 8 PM ET/PT. The host for this year's event has yet to be announced, although last year Snoop Dogg had the honours.
Drake Previews New Mixtape Songs At "Summer Sixteen" After-Party
Drake's "Summer Sixteen" shows continue to be full of surprises. He hit Detroit on Tues. night (Aug. 16) and ended the HOT 97-instigated rumor of a simmering beef with Eminem by bringing out the legendary Caucasian in his hometown. And it seems like the after-party was equally exciting for those lucky enough to get the invite.
PartyNextDoor On Kehlani: "I Regret How It Went Down"
PartyNextDoor released P3 at the end of last week, with the album stream quickly toppling over 70,000 views on our site alone. We don't yet know what kind of damage it'll do on the charts, but the hype surrounding the OVO-signed singer is definitely coming to a head. With the album doing it's thing, Rolling Stone caught up with PND for a quick interview on the ups and downs (more downs, it sounds like) of his past year. This includes everything from a short-lived relationship with Kehlani to writing RiRi's biggest ANTI hit.

In terms of the calendar, summer is winding down, but someone forgot to tell that to the rap game. We've only seen things heat up in the past week, with SremmLife 2 providing more than enough turn up fuel for the next few weeks, and P3 reminding us to squeeze every last bit of fun out of summer flings before cuffing season arrives.
Drake To Release "Please Forgive Me" Short Film, With Music From "VIEWS"
Earlier tonight, Drake announced that he will soon be releasing a short film entitled "Please Forgive Me." He said that it will feature music from his latest album, VIEWS. Perhaps the music videos for multiple VIEWS tracks will be included in "Please Forgive Me." Released at the end of April, Drake is still yet to put out a video for one of the album's tracks (aside from the bonus track "Hotline Bling," which got a video last Oct.).
Drake Brings Out LeBron James At Ohio "Summer Sixteen" Show
Drake's "Summer Sixteen" tour with Future has been defined in part by the stars he's brought on stage, from Rihanna and Kanye West to J. Cole & Dipset. Saturday night, during a show at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, Drizzy invited out local hero and reigning NBA champion LeBron James. "Ohio, if you don't make some noise for 'the King' right now you're out of your mind," said Drake as he introduced LeBron. "Now we gotta do it for old time's sake."
Boi-1da Implicates Tory Lanez For "Trolling For Record Sales"
A-list producer Boi-1da sent out a tweet today regarding simmering tensions between Drake and an unnamed artist. "One dude is selling out Madison Square Garden 4 nights," he wrote, "And the other dude trolling for attention & record sales. There's levels to this." The first dude, of course, is Drake, whose "Summer Sixteen" tour, featuring Future as a co-headliner, just ran through four sold-out shows at the Garden. Now it's not definitive, but "the other dude" is presumed to be another Torontonian in Tory Lanez, with whom Boi-1da sparred a couple of months ago.
Here's The Tracklist For PartyNextDoor's "P3"
PartyNextDoor has been pretty heavy with the leaks this summer, although not everything will land on his recently-announced album P3.
Charts Don't Lie: August 10
DJ Khaled has plenty of reason to celebrate this week. Khaled earned his first #1 debut with his ninth studio album Major Key-- obviously all that Snapchatting paid off. The record rides high on collaborations with everyone from Jay Z to YG, Kendrick Lamar to Future, although Khaled probably has more than enough star power by himself at this point. Drake follows right behind him with VIEWS, a record that has spent most of the summer at #1.
