Raised in Los Angeles California Rap Artist Dope Boy A.K.A Esko Began Writing at the age of 13. He was heavily influenced by Tupac & early 90's West Coast music. His music focused on his surroundings and everyday life in South Central LA. By the age of 19 he experienced what every teenage youth goes through in a poverty stricken community, from drug dealing, to being arrested, and dropping out of school. Seeing his actions were taking him no where fast, he decided to focus on music, he joined "The Gotti Boyz" a rap group put together by Kurupt. During that time he released two solo mixtapes with Black Wall Street's Nu jersey Devil & Dj Haze. After learning more about the business side of the industry & being around west coast legends like Kurupt, Tha Dogg Pound, Dj Quik, Warren G, & Snoop Dogg he set out to make his own mark.
