Diplo Songs

  • Kamikaze
We loved MØ's vocals on the pop-EDM-banger "Lean On" from Major Lazer and DJ Snake, at least when it first dropped, it has since become incessantly overplayed. Nonetheless the Denmark-bred singer returns with Diplo once more, this time for a solo single called "Kamikaze," which, this time, is more pop than banger (and more pop than EDM). MØ's sugar-coated voice play atop string-heavy production, and although (IRL) 'kamikaze' is a rather violent affair, MØ's record is anything but that, turning it to a fun time.
  • Dr. Pepper
    Dr. Pepper
Over the course of his career, Diplo's worked with everyone from M.I.A. to Pusha T, but even for him, this new track is eclectic. "Dr. Pepper" is helmed by K-Pop star CL, and features verses from RiFF RAFF and OG Maco.
  • Bitch Better Have My Money (Diplo & Grandtheft Remix)
Bitch Better Have My Money (Diplo & Grandtheft Remix)
Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money" is already big in the club, but Diplo and Grandtheft are ensuring that the record won't be leaving the dancefloor any time soon. The two producers have reworked RiRi's trap opus into a more dynamic festival-sized stomper.
  • Lean On
    Lean On
Diplo's got a few projects on his plate on the moment. He's currently prepping a new Major Lazer album, plus he's rolling out music under Jack Ü with Skrillex. After an appearance on the Hunger Games soundtrack with Ariana Grande back in November, "All My Love," Major Lazer has taken a backseat.
  • Stand For (Alternate Version)
    Stand For (Alternate Version)
Ty Dolla $ign's first single off his debut album Free TC, "Stand For," successfully merged his ratchet r'n'b sound with a powerful message to stand up for what you believe in. The song is produced by Diplo and DJ Dahi, and the former producer decided to share an alternate version of the track on his Soundcloud. You can hear some of the elements that made the final track here, and perhaps distinguish the contributions DJ Dahi made. The production is a bit more stripped down, with less drums at play. Give it a listen and let us know what you think.
  • Take Ü There (Remix)
    Take Ü There (Remix)
Jack Ü is a DJ duo consisting of two very well-known DJs in their own right- Diplo and Skrillex. The two formed Jack Ü in 2013, although their first single "Take Ü There" didn't drop until 2014. The dance and rave-friendly single features Canadian singer Keisza, whom we've seen collaborate with Joey Bada$$ and Mick Jenkins in recent months.
  • BlackMan Pt. 2
    BlackMan Pt. 2
The question that begs asking with Trinidad James' new song "BlackMan Pt. 2" is, "was there even a part one?" No, there wasn't, but that "Pt. 2" is still intrinsic to the track. On this Diplo-produced gem, Trinidad imagines a second chapter for both his life and the lives of black men around the country.
  • CoCo (Remix)
    CoCo (Remix)
O.T. Genasis, previously a virtually-unknown New York rapper, has a hit on his hands. With almost no street-level, grass roots-type movement behind "CoCo," the song that's taking off, Genasis' success is mostly due to a strong marketing push and the support of Busta Rhymes (who recently showed up to a CMJ show to run through the track four straight times).
  • Stand For
    Stand For
After releasing the Iamsu!-featured track “Lies & Dreams” earlier this week, Ty Dolla Sign decided to keep the new music rolling Friday night and stop by the LA Leakers to premiere his brand new single “Stand For”.
  • Take You There (Remix)
    Take You There (Remix)
As a signee of Diplo's Mad Decent record label, RiFF RAFF has been known to hop on an EDM track or two, imbuing the already bright hues of turn up tracks with doses of his colorful, cartoonish persona. Today, he's done it again, offering up a remix of Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex's duo) and Kiesza's "Take Ü There."
  • Kokayne
Riff Raff let go the pre-order for his upcoming album Neon Icon today, through iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. Along with the pre-order of the LP (which hopefully means absolutely no more delays), you'll receive two new tracks off the album, the Houston remix of "How To Be The Man" and "Kokayne" with production from Diplo.
  • Hero
Converse seem to be pretty talented when it comes to matching up random artists together, as they've been doing for their "Three Artists, One Song" series. The series was on a bit of hiatus since Gorillaz, Andre 3000 and James Murphy’s "DoYa Thing" as well as Pharrell, Santigold and  Julian Casablancas’ "Drive Thru."
  • Aerosol Can
    Aerosol Can
After impacting the hip-hop scene last year with his huge record “Bubble Butt”, producer/DJ Major Lazer has been gaining the recognition from many of the industry’s top dogs ever since. One artist in particular has been Grammy award winner artist Pharrell, and his large Smokey-The-Bear hat. The two artists recently linked up and came up with this record “Aerosol Can”.
  • Memphis
The rap collaborations off Justin Bieber's forthcoming iTunes project Journals (which drops tonight at midnight) keep arriving this Sunday afternoon. After hearing the Lil Wayne collabo, we get the Diplo-produced "Memphis" which bangs slightly harder than "Backpack." Does Bieber have your approval yet? Quotable Lyrics

  • Come Walk With Me
    Come Walk With Me
Give Come Walk With Me (Snippet) a spin - it's a new offering from M.I.A.. It was dropped on Thursday, August 29th, 2013.
