With humble beginnings rooted in Mississippi, Darrell Allen, now known on stage as DieHard Dinero, grew up under the wise wings of loving parents. Brought up in a house full of music, he developed an early appreciation for soul, blues, and that old school funk. Taking an interest in music, DieHard Dinero began recording and producing his own music at the young age of 13. Attending the Art Institute in Miami gave the young rapper a platform to share his music and make an impact. His first project entitled “Dreams and Imaginationz” was released in 2011. Mostly composed of self-produced tracks, his objective was to get music out there and receive feedback to see how far he could go as an artist. He was open to whatever criticism he was given, good or bad. “You have to learn how to take criticism”, says DieHard Dinero, “One persons feedback could get you down, but you have to learn how to take that feedback to better yourself and perfect your craft.” By putting himself out there as an artist, he began networking with some influential people and receiving encouragement that drove him to work harder. With a new project “Fly Forever” out soon, DieHard Dinero is looking forward to making his stamp in the music industry. “Music is my life”, he states when asked about relationship with the craft. The single “Notorious” has created quite the buzz amongst his growing fan base. Not only is DieHard Dinero paying homage to the late great Notorious BIG, the 6’9” rapper is bringing back the mystique of the big guys. With great optimism, DieHard Dinero speaks his future into existence by simply saying “I see myself at the top along side the greats.” Taking great strides to fulfill that sentiment, DieHard Dinero is one new artist to keep an eye on.
