Davy Jones is an American hip hop artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. Growing up in the South Eastern reagion of the United States Davy's music has been greatly influenced by Outkast, T.I., & Lil Wayne. As a child Dave fell in love with visual arts, never having taken a formal art class he taught himself how to draw, sculpt, & paint. Hoping to further his artistic prowess "Mr. Damn Damnit" himself Davy Jones is currently enrolled at The Art Institute where he studies Graphic Design. Creating all of his own album art, Dave puts his skills as a draftsman on display via mixtape covers. Through his music Davy conveys a message of self confidence & swagger covered by a smooth exterior. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Kanye West, Ludacris & fellow NC born rapper J. Cole. Simply put, they don't call him "King of the Damned" for nothing
