DMX got his name circulating across the web (not strictly on hip-hop platforms, either), with his new appearance on everyone's favorite morning show, The Breakfast Club. In typical DMX fashion, he couldn't keep still, seemingly high on life(?). The dude continuously wiped his forehead with a paper towel, had an open bottle of Henny on deck, and once he stood up, he would not sit back down.

The legend DMX seems to be working past the struggles that've kept him down since his glory days, as he's had a promising start to 2016. He released a new track, "Moe Wings," earlier this year, and Swizz Beatz revealed that he is helping produce X's next album, which will reportedly feature Kanye West and Dr. Dre.

Did not expect to see hear new DMX today, so “Moe Wings” is a pleasant surprise. DMX teams up with Big Moeses and Joe Young for the track. From their affiliations, we’d guess Dame Grease put this collaboration together.

Tim Westwood shares our love for Throwback Thursday, and he unearthed the audio for a DMX freestyle from all the way back in the Ruff Ryder leader’s heyday in the year 2000. The track is true vintage DMX, and he isn’t holding back (does he ever?).  Parts of the freestyle would end up in “Who’s Next” and “Niggaz Can’t Touch Me Kid,” so you know this one’s a classic.

DMX's continual legal troubles have prevented him from making the comeback we all know he has in him. But he's been in the studio recently, and Tuesday afternoon his longtime producer Dame Grease shared a new offering called "Ain't Nowhere To Hide." There's a high chance this is actually an old unreleased track. Because gahdamn, this shit goes.

Do you remember N.A.S.A.? In 2009 they were definitely ahead of the curve with their electronic-influenced records that often featured hip-hop artists. Their first (and only) album was a who's who of featured artists to help bridge the EDM/hip-hop gap, something which we've seen happen more so these days. Perhaps their most memorable record, at least in my mind, was the Kanye West, Santigold and Lykke Li-featured "Gifted." I listened to that shit so much.

BT Express' "Everything Good to You (Ain't Always Good for You)" has been sampled in so many rap records, it's difficult to even choose a definitive use of it. We've heard it flipped on songs by EPMD, Mase, Beanie Siegel, and the biggest crew record to ever come out of Canada, "Northern Touch". the record that got the most attention was most certainly DMX's "Get At Me Dog," and that's the one that Papoose has decided to freestyle over today. 

After getting "Banned From Radio" on his freestyle last week, Papoose joins his NY comrades Jadakiss, Styles P and Fabolous (who hasn't dropped one yet, but will tonight) in dropping a new one today. This one's over a classic DMX joint, and it's titled "Blackout."

We know that DMX has been working a lot lately with his former Ruff Ryders collaborator Swizz Beatz, and Swizz is apparently executive producing X's new album.

DMX's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on I Don't Dance .
