    A few days ago, DJ Mustard stated what was already obvious to many people: Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and Jidenna's "Classic Man" sound like complete "rip offs" of his style. The two tracks, the former of which is credited as a sample on the latter, have blown up in the wake of Mustard's popularity, but many were also quick to note that the producer's sound itself is pretty derivative of other eras and styles of music.

    Over the past two years, DJ Mustard certainly hasn't been hurting for hits, with hip hop stations on both coasts continuing to blast his ratchet, slightly hyphy-inspired tunes, regardless of whoever's singing or rapping on them. That being said, it's gotta hurt him a little bit that two of the biggest radio hits during that time period, Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and Jidenna's "Classic Man," sound exactly like his style while being produced by others.

    After giving us his 10 Summers album at the end of last summer (which he did release for free via Google Play initially), DJ Mustard is making a return this summer to ensure we have more material to listen too. It's been two years since he gave us his Ketchup mixtape, which was jam-packed with West Coast features. We'll have to see if we get a similar situation on 10 Summers: The Mixtape Vol 1.

    2K Sports announced in a press release that the NBA 2K16 soundtrack will be curated by DJ Mustard, DJ Khaled, & DJ Premier. With 50+ tracks and six new exclusives, it will be the biggest soundtrack in the history of the franchise. Pharrell curated the 2K15 soundtrack.

The event just announced the line-up for their two-day festival, and it's a mix of EDM, hip-hop and rock. On August 1st, the headliner is The Weeknd, who will also be joined by ScHoolboy Q, Young Thug, French DJ Brodinski, Salva, Dillon Francis and more. August 2nd finds Jack U headlining, with performances from RL Grime, Die Antwoord, DJ Mustard & friends, Chromeo, Fetty Wap, ILoveMakonnen, LA Leakers and more.

    Following the growing number of incidents in which police have killed unarmed black men in the U.S. this year, protesters have gathered nationwide to fight for change. The "Millions March" in New York a couple of weeks back collected a massive turnout, and now other cities are following suit. While we saw Nas and Russell Simmons among the protesters in New York, L.A.'s march today also drew in some rap icons. Game, DJ Mustard, and Tyga joined the thousands who gathered to stand in unison for Eric Garner, Mike Brown, and the many others who's deaths have gone without consequence.
