Followers of DJ Mustard's Instagram may have noticed a slight change in his appearance; the soft-spoken purveyor of "ratchet" music has dropped over 100 pounds. During an interview on daytime talk show "The Real," he explained that his love for designer clothes inspired and his rapidly growing young son inspired him to lose the weight.
YG Shares Cover To "Red Friday" Mixtape, Dropping This Friday
This Friday, many will be hitting the malls to take advantage of the price gouges offered annually on the day after Thanksgiving, better known as Black Friday. For those not wanting to take part in Black Friday, which generally reduces the American populace to its basest impulses, YG is offering another holiday: Red Friday. The Piru-approved celebration will bring with it another mixtape from the ruler of the 400 Block. Red Friday will be the follow-up to YG's sophomore album, this summer's excellent Still Brazy.

Most of the excitement hinges on the projects' star-studded guestlists (although we can't say a damn thing against Clammy Clams' three prior instrumental compilations), and as far as producer-led albums in hip hop go, that's usually been the case.
Daz Dillinger Accuses DJ Mustard Of Beat-Jacking
DJ Mustard has accused others of biting off his signature sound, referring to last year's Billboard hits like "Fancy" and "Classic Man" as blatant rip-offs. The L.A. producer is now being targeted for doing some beat-jacking of his own, and the accusations come from a West Coast OG in Daz Dillinger.

While YG and DJ Mustard have had their disagreements in the past, and haven't been collaborating as frequently as they once were, it hasn't been entirely clear whether or not they've been on good terms over the last little while. A mustard bottle, a beet, and a garden hoe are the cleverly chosen symbols, but honestly they had us at mustard.

DJ Mustard has announced a new single with Travis Scott, and luckily we won't have to wait too long to hear it. The west coast producer delivered the news to Twitter earlier today, sharing the artwork for a track titled "Whole Lotta Lovin'". The song will be premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show sometime tomorrow.Mustard and Travis both have very distinct styles, so we're excited to hear how they're able to merge them on the track.
