CyHi The Prince Shares His "Lost" Verse From "Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1"
One by one, the The Life of Pablo sessions that got left on the cutting room floor are being made public. Yesterday, it was an alternate take of "Famous" featuring Young Thug. Last night on Instagram, CyHi the Prynce revealed a very impressive "lost" version of "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" that may well be superior to the one that appeared on the album.
Kanye West Hits Studio With Swizz Beatz & Kendrick Lamar
Last week we received our G.O.O.D. Friday release a tad late, because Kanye West jetted off to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting. This Friday, though, all signs are pointing to the fact that we should receive our G.O.O.D. Friday record on time, if only because Kanye was hard at work in the studio last night.
CyHi The Prynce Clarifies Label Situation, Speaks On Making "Elephant In The Room"
CyHi The Prynce shook things up when he dropped "Elephant in the Room," a fictional narrative where he shot up the Def Jam offices while kidnapping Kanye West and throwing lyrical daggers at G.O.O.D. Music artists. It's been a bit of a confusing situation since-- we were told that he was released from Def Jam, and thus sort of assumed he was also done with G.O.O.D. Music, but that's not the case.
CyHi The Prynce Says He Didn't Diss Kanye West On "Elephant In The Room"
We were pretty shocked earlier this week when long-silent G.O.O.D. Music MC CyHi The Prynce let loose a fiery track called "Elephant in The Room" and effectively announced his departure from the label. In a series of new tweets, he took the time to clarify some points he was making on the song, including the fact that he doesn't consider it a Kanye West diss. Read those tweets below.
Staff Picks Playlist (August 7)
After an OVO-themed edition of Staff Picks last week, we're back to a more varied round-up of artists and songs chosen by the HNHH staff. We didn't have any big developments in the Drake/Meek Mill beef this week, at least not song-wise, although Meek is still going at Drake during his live shows. In terms of music, we we're excited to receive a new single from Mac Miller, and CyHi The Prynce came out of hiding as well (both picks on this wee
CyHi The Prynce Announces New Album "L.I.O.N."
CyHi The Prynce shook things up earlier in the week when he dropped his record "Elephant in the Room," seemingly coming at the necks of everyone in Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music. The song came with word that CyHi had been released from Def Jam and was a "free agent."
Is G.O.O.D. Music A Good Label? 5 Artists Whose Careers Stalled While Signed
Reaching peak visibility during Kanye West's inescapable "G.O.O.D. Fridays" series that served as a prelude to 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, G.O.O.D. Music has since become one of the most revered labels in hip hop. Even if it's not nearly as prolific as other indies, most would still call you a fool if you turned down a chance to sign with Kanye, especially in the wake of recent successes like Dark Sky Paradise and My Name Is My Name.
CyHi The Prynce Released From Def Jam Contract, Disses Kanye West
So this afternoon, we were not only surprised by the Chance The Rapper x Lil B mixtape dropping, but by CyHi The Prynce's apparent diss track, aimed at none other than Kanye West. CyHi has been signed to G.O.O.D.

Kanye West Hangs With Outkast, 2 Chainz & More At Atlanta Waffle House
It's tough to catch Kanye West with a smile on his face these days, but when you're hanging out in a waffle house with Andre 3000, it's pretty much impossible to mean mug. Following his surprise performance at 107.9's Birthday Bash 20, Kanye joined a few of his favorite ATLiens at their favorite late night spot.
Samples Of The Week: February 19
With an unexpectedly sample-heavy release from Drake blowing up your newsfeeds all week, we have a wealth of tracks to pick from for Samples Of The Week. We could've easily devoted this entire thing to If You're Reading This It's Too Late, but we thought we'd spare you another feature article on Drake. Still, one or two songs from the tape are included on here.
Samples Of the Week: February 11
Last week we featured some of the game's heaviest hitters on Samples Of The Week, with Action Bronson and The Alchemist getting jiggy over a classic drum break and Drake once again paying homage to country music star George Strait. The biggest tracks this week may have had more modern sounds and not featured identifiable samples, but reliable traditionalists came through in a big way, delivering some tracks that got us nostalgic.

CyHi Talks "Hystori" And Future Projects, Names His Top 5 Emcees
If CyHi The Prince's conscious efforts weren't a bright spot on the G.O.O.D. Music roster before, they are now, in the wake of his mixtape's release, Black Hystori Project which opened to positive word of mouth. So, CyHi can count it as a victory but he now has to worry about mounting expectations for his future releases.
Review: CyHi The Prynce's "Black Hystori Project"
When we last heard from CyHi the Prynce, he was cruising around college campuses with his Ivy League: Kick Back mixtape early last year. Now, ready to show us what he’s learned, he takes us back to school with Hystori: Black History Project. His most socially conscious body of work yet, CyHi gives us a history lesson throughout the project.
CyHi The Prynce Says G.O.O.D. Fridays Are Coming Back
This is definitely good news for all G.O.O.D. Music fans out there. CyHi The Prynce let go a new mixtape this past week, Hystori: Black History Project, which seems to have satisfied the fans, but nonetheless CyHi reveals there is plenty more on the way from him and the rest of the G.O.O.D. camp.
Samples Of The Week: February 27
When hip-hop began, samples were all that DJs and producers had to construct instrumental tracks with. They'd dig through crates of vinyl trying to find isolated drum breaks, melodies or vocals that they could repurpose for use in hip-hop music. Today, sampling has become less common, but a choice sample can still push a track from lukewarm to hot faster than you can say "uh huh honey." This week, see who Cyhi the Prynce, Blue Sky Black Death and Chief Keef chose to sample in their recent releases, all of which you can find on HNHH.
CyHi The Prynce Announces New Project Executive Prod. By Kanye West [Update: Title & Release Date Revealed]
CyHi The Prynce is arguably the most underrated emcee in the G.O.O.D camp, and it's perhaps unarguable that he's often forgotten when considering G.O.O.D Music. Nonetheless, the rapper is a lyrical beast, as any of his mixtapes will prove. He's also a relatively quiet rapper, which is perhaps why he gets forgotten-- chances are you will not see CyHi in the news for getting arrested, getting sued, starting unnecessary beef etc.
CyHi The Prynce Claims G.O.O.D. Music's "Cruel Winter" Compilation Could Drop This Year
In a recent interview with Blogionista, CyHi The Prynce stated that G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Winter album may be dropping by the end of the year. "We in negotiations with Def Jam," he explained. "Sometimes they're extra slow. We're looking to put it out this year."
