Ray J & Chris Brown
It was pretty clear Ray J wasn’t too happy with Kanye West after he used his image in the controversial “Famous” video.
Gucci Mane Feat. Akon & Chris Brown
Gucci Mane continues to keep the new music coming.
Chris Brown Feat. Young Lo
Chris Brown's hooks on "Loyal," "Show Me," and "Ayo," proved that his voice pairs well with shiny club R&B, and "Everybody" is another take on the successful formula. DJ Mustard provides a maximal instrumental that still leads with his signature bounce, but fills the space with lush instrumentation. Coming off the Attack The Block mixtape, which finds Chris working with both his own OHB artists and UK act Section Boyz, Chris' frequent collaborator Young Lo makes one of many appearances on this track, adding some bars to the pop-leaning jam.
Trapping Out The Garage
Young Lo Feat. Chris Brown & Flawkoe
Chris Brown acts as the head honcho of the Original Hood Bosses crew, and it seems he's intent on making the group a staple in the trap game. He showcased some of the crew's artists as well as his own penchant for the trap sound on April's Before the Trap: Nights in Tarzana mixtape, which included features from Quavo, Kevin Gates, and the Section Boyz. Young Lo was one of the most frequently heard OHB guys on the project, and the LA rapper has now dropped a new track, "Trapping Out the Garage," via Chris Brown's SoundCloud.
DJ Drama Feat. Fabolous, Trey Songz, Tory Lanez, Jhene Aiko & Chris Brown
DJ Drama's "Wishing" originally featured Chris Brown, Skeme, and Lyquin, but only Chris remains for the remix, which adds the all-star cast of Trey Songz, Tory Lanez, Jhene Aiko, and Fabolous. Like Khaled's "Hold You Down," it makes a solid argument for the R&B crew track, giving each of the singers their own verse, while Fab remains the sole rapper of the bunch, opening things up before things get syrupy and melodic.
Keep You In Mind
Chris Brown Feat. Bryson Tiller
Chris Brown continues to roll out new music ahead of his forthcoming album Heartbreak On A Full Moon.
Lady In The Glass Dress
You may remember "Lady In The Glass Dress" as a minute-long interlude on Chris Brown's 2014 album, X. Naturally, fans have been hoping to hear a fleshed out version of the song since it's release, and Chris has shared just that on his Soundcloud. The new version of the track more than doubles its original runtime, and while it doesn't introduce many new elements, extending the mood another minute makes for a satisfying listen while the original left you wanting more.
What Would You Do?
A day after Chris Brown was arrested (and posted his $250k bail) for alleged assault with a deadly weapon following accusations made by a female beauty pageant (Baylee Curran) that Breezy threatened her with a gun the night prior at his LA crib, the R&B singer decides get back to the music & release a fitting new song on his soundcloud page appropriately called “What Would You Do?”
Your Number (Remix)
Ayo Jay Feat. Chris Brown & Kid Ink
Ayo Jay might be the Nigerian artist best poised to attain international popularity, other than WizKid. He first moved to the United States to pursue a degree in finance at New York's Baruch College. He recently inked a deal with RCA and re-released his infectious, upbeat Afrobeat lovesong "Your Number" as a single. Now, as Ayo Jay prepares to properly enter the American market, the single gets a remix from Chris Brown and Kid Ink.
Do You Mind
DJ Khaled Feat. Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Future, August Alsina, Jeremih & Rick Ross
"Holy Key," the first single from DJ Khaled's album Major Key, was a triumph. In particular, the Kendrick verse. With the album due out tomorrow, Khaled premieres another track by way of iHeartRadio called "Do You Mind." The supporting cast of Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Future, August Alsina, Jeremih, and Rick Ross is like the rap equivalent of the "New Year's Eve" cast.
A Lot Of Love
Yesterday, Chris Brown reacted to the recent deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by releasing a new record, "My Friend." He continues the trend of new releases today with "A Lot of Love." Whereas "My Friend" was a bit more downtrodden, in terms of sound and content, "A Lot of Love" is much more uplifting and positive in production and mindset.
Given all the turmoil going on around us, with two unjustified deaths of black men basically back-to-back, Chris Brown has responded in the way he knows best: through music. The r'n'b singer took to twitter to drop a new record this afternoon, "My Friend." He says of the song, "This song I released for free for anybody dealing with injustice or struggle in their lives." It's a slow-moving, heartfelt piano ballad that touches on the struggle you face after losing someone close to you-- whether that's in death or in another manner. Are you feeling it?
Chris Brown Feat. Famous Fresh
Following up last week’s “Shabba” release with Trey Songz, French Montana & Wizkid, another new song & accompanying video from Chris Brown has somehow surfaced online today called “Leave Broke” featuring Famous Fresh.
WizKid, Chris Brown, Trey Songz & French Montana
The Nigerian rising star known as WizKid, a vital part of Drake's record-setting hit "One Dance," has come through today with the official version of "Shabba," a track dedicated to the Jamaican dancehall legend Shabba Ranks. Aside from WizKid, the party-starting anthem features the all-star cast of Chris Brown, Trey Songz, French Montana, and Mike Will Made-It, who handles the production.
Chris Brown Feat. WizKid, Hoody Baby & Section Boyz
Chris Brown liberated a new song Thursday morning called "Shabba." Nigeria singer WizKid, Dallas rapper Hoody Baby, and London crew Section Boyz all make appearances on the track, and Mike WiLL Made-It continues his incredible 2016 run with a glockenspiel-driven beat that wouldn't have felt entirely out on place on Coloring Book.
Teyana Taylor Feat. Chris Brown
Despite being a new mother with Cavs hairdo innovator Iman Shumpert, Teyana Taylor has held all of her sex appeal intact, and she's feeling herself on her new single, "Freak On," featuring another singer who's always ready to get his freak on in Chris Brown. It's a certified slapper produced by DJ Mustard, intended for the roughest type of horseplay imaginable. Though it's not all raunch, as their go-for-broke bedroom impulses are ultimately driven by their inner-romance.
Bring It Back
Chris Brown Feat. T-Pain
After a minor private jet snafu, Chris Brown made it safely to Cannes Film Festival this morning. He celebrates by releasing a new banger with T-Pain called "Bring it Back."
Trap Out The Uber
Bricc Baby Feat. Chris Brown
Bricc Baby's Nasty Dealer was one of 2015's most slept on projects, but with the sequel on the way, the Batgang and MPA-affiliated rapper seems ready to have his real breakout this year. One-upping Madintyo, Bricc Baby delivers "Trap Out The Uber," a collaboration with Chris Brown that continues to build on the rapper's strengths exhibited on his last project.
DJ Drama Feat. Chris Brown, Skeme & LyQuin
DJ Drama is finally ready to begin the roll out for the follow-up to his 2012 album, Quality Street Music. The ATL DJ released the first single off Quality Street Music 2 this morning, rounding up Chris Brown, Skeme and up & comer Lyquin for the smooth, bedroom-jam ready "Wishing."
No Romeo No Juliet
50 Cent Feat. Chris Brown
50 Cent dropped The Kanan Tape at the tail end of 2015, and since then, he's been pushing his Sonny Digital-produced record, "I'm The Man," a song Birdman recently endorsed in his HOT 97 interview. 50's decided to follow up the single today with a new Chris Brown collaboration, which sounds like it could potentially get some radio play. The song is set too appear on Kanan: Reloaded, the follow up to his most recent tape that should be impacting soon. It's not clear if this one will be a retail release or yet another free project. Does 50 have a hit on his hands?
