- C-del - Knock Me Down
On September 9th 1995 a superstar was born ; Cordel Brown. Exposed to music before birth, Brown has always had a passion about music. Raised by a single mom in Malton,Ontario, Brown was always described as a playful, fun and outgoing child. One day 5 Year old Brown was watching BET'S 106 & Park when City High's 2001 hit record song came on entitled "What Would You Do?". Immediately Brown fell in love with music , that song made him into the artist he is today. Slightly after hearing that song, Brown and his older brother always had mini freestyle battles around the apartment using "Roll-On" Deodorants pretending they were microphones. At around age 8 Brown had already arranged a remake of Freestyle Friday in the apartment hallways with fellow Neighbors,Friends, and Relatives. Cordel also had his first gig at age 8 , performing at Ridgewood Public School's Winter Holiday Concert. Brown definitely found his passion. While spelling his name out one day;Brown came across something oddly interesting. (He found the word "or" in his first name and also the word backwards in his last name.) he recognized this as odd and dropped the "or" out of his name, calling himself C-del. C-del started recording on dollar store microphones and writing his own lyrics. 2 Years later Brown and his family moved to Brampton,Ontario. A year after moving, 11 Year Old Brown and another classmate (Exclusive) randomly greeted each other. The two realized they had a similar passion , and immediately their destiny prevailed by making magical music together. C-del who is now 16 Years old is currently working on his first solo Mixtape and E.P after thoroughly perfecting his craft. C-del is highly motivated and very eager to make his leap in to the music industry.
