Purple Haze 2 will likely be the final album we get from Cam'ron, who will turn 40 this year. "I'm winding down," he told FADER. "I'm getting more focused on movies and television."

B-Roc and J. Patt make up The Knocks, a production duo whose debut album is coming at the top of 2016. The project, titled 55, already counts Fetty Wap, Wyclef Jean, Matthew Koma, Walk The Moon, and more among its collaborators, but today we're hearing our most anticipated record from the collection, "New York City" with none other than Cam'ron.

It's now been a while since Cam'ron completed the First Of the Month EP series that ran for six months in 2014, but today, we get a video for one of the installment's tracks. Watch the "Fuckin Hater" visuals above.  Opening with a vintage-looking flip through some TV channels, the video then goes on to show Sen cooling in the crib with some friends, lamenting about the haters as he looks forlornly out the window. Killa Cam shows up later Behind the wheel of his whip, adding his list of gripes to the fray as a woman yells outside his window.

Smoke DZA's last album, Dream.ZONE.Achieve, was released over a year ago, and it seemed we'd never get an official video for his Harlem lineage collab, "Ghost Of Dipset". The Cam'ron-assisted collab is built off aof a beat that fittingly sounds like a Heatmakerz instrumental calling from the afterlife. DZA's laid-back swagger works is highly compatible with Cam's lazy tongue twisters, and by recruiting the Diplomats leader for the video, DZA gets his KIlla Season-proven acting chops, as well as a role for Dame Dash as well.

In an interview with ThisIs50, Dipset CEO and rapper Freekey Zekey is immediately grilled on the longstanding tensions between Dipset and Jay Z. Apparently when Dipset came over to Roc-A-Fella in 2001, Jay Z largely ignored the crew, instead focusing on other artists on his roster. Cam'Ron tried for months, to no avail, to get Hov in the studio during the recording of his Come Home With Me album. Jay finally agreed, and they recorded "Welcome to New York City".

After releasing a new single, "Do Something," as part of the upcoming Dipset reunion project (the title of which has yet to be confirmed), the group goes back to their first single "Have My Money" today with an official music video. Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Frekey Zekey star in the sleek black and white visuals, where they takeover a high-end club with a few special ladies.

MTV and RapGenius are teaming up for a new initiative where they dig in to the MTV vaults to release some previously unseen interviews with some of your favorite rappers. After giving us a vintage Ol' Dirty Bastard interview the other week, this week we get to hear from a young Killa Cam. The interview dates back to 1998 and serves as Cam's first ever solo interview with the outlet. The interview finds him discussing his past in Children of the Corn, his affiliation with Mase (and the success of Mase), and much more. Head back in time by clicking play above.

Cam'ron has dropped off a visual piece for the sixth (and last) instalment of his 1st Of The Month EP series. The video for "All Dat There Mine", which features Cam's boo JuJu and Gunplay (whose self-titled mixtape you can download here), is a

Killa Cam goes back to his second 1st Of The Month EP with the collaborative track "So Bad" featuring fellow New Yorker Nicki Minaj and Yummy. As Cam tends to do with his visual treatments, this one's got a storyline. Cam switches up the expected scenario of trying to work out a relationship, and attempts to work out buying a super nice piece of real estate.

If you're looking to make a song that exalts marijuana, you'd do well to recruit Wiz Khalifa and Smoke DZA for guests verses. Mr. "Kush & Orange Juice" and the self-proclaimed Kush God show up to share their expertise on Cam'ron's recently-released track "Touch The Sky," which unlike Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco's song of the same name, is more focused on getting blunted than getting famous.

It's almost the end of the month and you know what that means: another First Of The Month EP is on the way from Cam'ron. October's installment will be the fourth in the series, and it's set to include five tracks and only one guest. Last week, Killa Cam dropped "Snapped," a collab with 2 Chainz that's the EP's first single, and today, a video arrives. The NY/ATL duo go in over a chipmunk-soul-from-hell instrumental that sounds like a lean-drenched version of Cam's "Oh Boy." Tity Boi in particular goes hard on this one.

Though the G-Unit reunion has no doubt attracted more attention, Dipset has been low-key killing shit in 2014 as well. Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Hell Rell recently linked up on the araabMUZIK-produced "C.F.W.U." (Can't Fuck With Us), and now they've unveiled a video for the First Of The Month Vol. 2 track.  Showing Cam and Co. rapping from parking lots, roofs and best of all, fire escapes, this is old-school Harlem at its finest. Diplomats logos flash onscreen, old friends reunite, and we're left with a very fitting, somewhat nostalgic clip.

Cam'ron has always been a theatrical dude. From his colorful wordplay, to his hilarious and performative interviews, to his kinda awesome film, "Killa Season", the rapper has always had a knack for various forms of entertainment. His new EP, 1st Of The Month Vol. 1 will have 5 videos for its respective songs, each of which will fit into a larger overarching narrative. In his latest clip, Cam has reunited with Dipset's Un Kasa, a man he netrusted with handling the intro to classic double album Diplomatic Immunity solo.

Today, Cam'ron released the first installment of his 1st Of The Month EP series, and along with it comes a 22 minute long "movie." It's also the first part in a series, which will presumably continue with the release of each ensuing EP. Upon first watch, the movie appears to be a semi fictitious depiction of Cam's actual life, albeit with more crime, drama and thrills than usual. JuJu, his fiancee, is featured prominently, as is a good deal of his music.
