Early in 2011 a youth group from Brooklyn New York came up with an idea to make a remix to the hit song "Teach Me how to Dougie" . At first it was brought up just as a joke and the words "Teach me how to pray" began to circulate. Three young men decided to put there words into action and in April of 2011 released their track of "Teach Me How To Pray" which made a great impression. Many pastors and churches requested to have the song for there own use, and also large Youth conferences began to use there song. Clifton "CJayy" , Jonathan "MrLegit" and Matthew "King Mattu" were the three young men who started the "Teach Me how to pray" track. Finding that they loved making tracks they finalized there name too "Cousins 4 Christ" and they use the number 4 instead of "four" to represent the 3 nails used on the crossed and the 1 crown of thorns placed on there Lord and Savior. They continue to make new tracks and also have began to make their own tracks. They want to use there talents to speak truth on issues that young youth go thru and also spread the love of Jesus.
