Bryant Charles Whitley (aka Biggie Whit or Whitty) was born October 16th 1989, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Growing up in North Carolina his love for music began with his mother introducing him to artist from the Disco Era. Artist such as Gloria Gaynor, Earth Wind & Fire, Rick James, The Bee Gees, and many more were only a few of Bryant’s favorites growing up. His fascination for Hip-hop began when he was introduced to Notorious BIG and Jay-Z. It wasn’t till his senior year in high school that he decided to become Biggie Whit. Producing his own music and mastering his craft his name became known amongst the county. Joining a group called Fly Gang he showed potential and constant improvement on his skills. From lyrics, to flow, to sound quality, you name it he was slowly improving himself to be a better artist. He performed his first performance at First Lutheran Church in Albemarle, NC. It was at the moment that he realized that his name was a lot more than hobby and wanted to make the most of it. He created the motto “Getcha Wings up” because of the struggles he faced and with hope and hard work everything will pay off. In 2011 he Started a hip-hop group in Charlotte, NC along with (E Carolina Prodigy, BTR, Killakwabo, and JD) known as L.O.I. He is a graduate of West Montgomery High School, and Montgomery Community College. He is also an Eagle Scout of Troop 80 in Mt. Gilead, NC. On August 5, 2011 Biggie Whit signed with medley records. He finished his first mixtape "The Diary Of Whitty: Clips Of Hope" in 2012. He would leave Medley records in 2013 and would begin working with OutThaBoxx Records on his collab project with patrick cruz. Student at UNCC, and part of Radio Free Charlotte.
