Big Boi and Phantogram's joint project Big Grams EP still bumps hard in the whip. In particular, "Born to Shine", which features Run the Jewels, just announced that they are halfway done with RTJ3. But that's another story. This story is about the new Big Grams visual -- a double feature! -- that brings together in "Born to Shine" and "Run For Your Life" in trippy 8-minute animated extravaganza.

Organized Noize
Organized Noize isn’t a household name anymore, but hopefully it will be after this upcoming documentary. As a refresher, Organized Noize is a hip-hop production trio consisting of Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown. They’re a part of the larger music collective Dungeon Family, which includes members like Outkast, Killer Mike and Goodie Mob. Organized Noize produced a number of classic hits, including TLC’s “Waterfalls” and Outkast’s “So Fresh, So Clean.”

Renegade El Ray
Renegade El Ray built his career working at Stankonia Studios, and he was able to interact with a bunch of talented artists who came in to record. Their presence must have had an effect on him, because he’s just released his first music video under his own label Southern Eagle Music Group. The video is simple, featuring the Memphis-to-ATL transplant rapping in front of large S and E lettering. HIs crew gets in the mix too, appearing in some shots.

Revisiting their recently-released self-titled debut album, Big Grams, aka Big Boi & Phantogram, decide to come through and share the official video for their track “Fell In The Sun.” Backed by some psychedelic sun-spotted circular visuals, Big Boi & Phantogram deliver a trippy and hypnotic video that’s supposed to imitate the feeling you get when you look directly into the sun. It’s a dope and crazy concept that you definitely need to check out. Proceed with caution if you have bad eyes though.

One of the most effective tracks is "Born To Shine," which features verses from both El-P and Killer Mike from Run The Jewels. We never thought we'd see it performed live, but Big Boi got everyone together at San Francisco's Treasure Island Music Festival.

Big Boi and Phantogram appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote their new Big Grams EP, which is pretty much guaranteed to rock the house from start to finish. They wisely opted to perform EP lead single "Fell in the Sun." With Big Boi spitting flames, Phantogram-Dude going to work on the MPC, Phantogram-Girl liberating her lofty pipes, and The Roots holding it down in the background, you know this shit was gonna be lit. And live horns are always a nice addition.

Key & Peele
Currently in the midst of their fifth and final scene on Comedy Central, Key & Peele explain the real reason why Outkast won't put out another album. Jordan Peele plays Big Boi, minding his own business at the coffee shop until Keegan-Michael Key, dressed as a Robin Hood-esque Andre 3000, skips into the establishment. After placing an overly complicated order, Andre sits down with Big Boi to pitch him new album ideas "Only one spoken word per track." Big Boi is down for a real discussion, but he can't because Andre is being all weird and shit.
