Sony Will Not Pull Beyonce's Music From TIDAL
Yesterday (May 29), in the midst of rumors of TIDAL's swelling financial woes, reports circulated that Sony was considering pulling all of its music from the streaming service. The loss of all Sony-endorsed business would be crippling, no doubt, but Sony has the rights to one artist whose removal would be particular painful: Beyonce, the better half of TIDAL owner Jay Z.
Beyoncé's Albums Could Potentially Be Stripped From Tidal
Since it's relaunch under Jay Z's ownership a couple months back, Tidal has been a hot topic in the music industry, receiving plenty of backlash, and causing Jay to constantly be on the defensive side of things.
Jay Z Put On Blast For All-White TIDAL Staff
Two weekends ago, Jay Z made headlines for a freestyle that dissed YouTube and Spotify, and called out the black community for not supporting TIDAL. A sampling of the lyrics:

Jay Z & Beyonce Have Paid "Tens Of Thousands" In Protestors' Bail Money

Jay Z & Beyoncé Meet Freddie Gray's Family In Baltimore
After sharing a protest song supporting the Freddie Gray rallies in Baltimore, Prince performed a special concert in the city last night. The show was broadcast on TIDAL, while owners Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Alicia Keys were in attendance. Hov and Bey also took the opportunity to meet with Gray's family, taking a few photos with them that showed up online today. It's not clear whether the pictures actually took place at the concert, or elsewhere, but either way, they're worth a look.
Jay Z & Beyonce's New $2.6 Million New Orleans Crib Used To Be A Church
Jay Z & Beyonce reportedly just bought a new crib in the swanky Garden District of New Orleans for $2.6 million, according to a report from ET Online. Built in 1925, the crib was originally a Presbyterian church before being remodeled into a ballet school and eventually a domicile. Here's the crib by the numbers:

Beyonce Signs 3 Teenagers For $1.5 Million
In 2008, Beyonce founded her own company Parkwood Entertainment. Since its inception, Parkwood has been involved in everything Beyonce, from her films ("Cadillac Records" and "Obsessed") to her albums and music videos, but it was unclear if Bey intended to use Parkwood to sponsor other artists. This weekend, though, Queen Bey made three huge future investments, signing the two Bailey sisters as well as the 14-year-old Sophie Beem. The price tag for all three singers: $1.5 million.
Jay Z & Beyonce's Album Reportedly "Nearing Completion," Will Be TIDAL Exclusive
Tidal is not doing well. Earlier today, it was reported that Kanye West may actually be distancing himself from the celebrity-owned streaming service due to its poor performance on the app store. Certainly, the "exclusive" content they've been offering hasn't been enough to sway users into paying for a subscription, or perhaps, the content simply hasn't met the desires of its audience.

10 Songs You Didn't Know The-Dream Wrote
More than perhaps anyone else this decade, Terius Nash (AKA The-Dream) has been R&B's go-to behind-the-scenes man. Although his solo career has attracted a ravenous, cultish following, The-Dream's biggest smash hits (and paychecks) have come courtesy of his songwriting. He's penned tracks for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige-- basically all of the most prominent female R&B singers since the '90s-- and even seen a few of them hit number one.
5 Songs You Didn't Know Frank Ocean Wrote
By now, we all know Frank Ocean best as the Odd Future member who's peeled off and had arguably the most successful solo career of the whole crew. A ton of that is thanks to his solo material, with Channel Orange especially garnering a ton of positive reception, but Ocean's also made his mark on the R&B game as a guest vocalist and writer. High-profile collabs with Kanye and Jay Z have obviously done wonders for his notoriety, but behind the scenes, Ocean's written some big hits for star singers.
5 Things You Should Know About TIDAL
This TIDAL “hi-fidelity music streaming” thing is actually happening. Not formally acquainted? Well, allow me to introduce you. A group of 16 mega-star musicians and/or musically-inclined entertainers united in a noble effort this past Monday to launch a music streaming service that offers audiences music with CD-quality sound, videos and other "exclusive" content the way artists like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West and Rihanna originally intended to--for a fee of $19.99 a month, of course.
Beyonce Posts Snippet Of New Song With Jay Z On Instagram
Though only a few seconds long, Beyonce's latest vid with Blue Ivy is the best thing we've seen on Instagram in a long time. The clip shows Bey and baby Blue flossing, literally, with matching floss picks and matching stunna shades to boot. And during this priceless moment, a new song plays in the background--a beat that bumps along with a sample of a woman repeating "flossin"--and that certainly sounds like Daddy in the background with the ad-libs.
Kid Rock Is Attacked By The "Beyhive" After His Comments On Beyonce
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Detroit rock artist Kid Rock stated that he, unlike the rest of the world, is "flabbergasted" by Beyonce's massive popularity. He doesn't understand why Bey is, admittedly, "the biggest thing on Earth", as, in his opinion, she "doesn't have a fucking Purple Rain".
